  1. I consider it an achievement. You're self satisfied enough with what you've done to have no more interest in all of those pressing needs of things you need to accomplish. It feels pretty good to log on and have no interest in levelling up or anything.
  2. If we're talking about someone who falls into this gullible category, it's better they learn their lesson now rather than in a phishing email. There's only so many protections we can give without going slippery slope jagex on these forums and disabling links and everything. Assume some responsibility and self-accountability from these people.
  3. Cruises are a blast. What ports are you going to? My advice though is to stay off the internet and just post pictures later. Your parents are spending a lot of money for the trip so don't waste time going online when you can do that at home. There's always something to do on a cruise. Take full advantage of the never ending food supply, all the things and activities on the cruise to do, and have a great time.
  4. He was probably kidding. I'd imagine he's an older playing being sarcastic on how other people act.
  5. I made that for a 300 based TET event. Those 1 handed spears didn't exist then though.
  6. Just drive a bit further to a convenience store that's open to buy some earplugs. Or use a cd player/ipod with tranquil music to put you to sleep. It's still noise but it's more peaceful. Or, hey, if you can't beat em, join em.
  7. I've always used Draynor. Even if the distances are equal, it's more convenient because you have less clicking to do because so much of the walk is going around the fence.
  8. There's a thread on it already: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=685157 But yeah, it was crazy. I don't usually watch much on that channel so it's a weird coincidence that I stopped to watch for a minute and saw it live.

    Parkour

Parkour is amazing. Not as genuine, but my favorite parkour I've seen has been from the latest James Bond movie. This one's pretty cool too.
  10. I saw it live right as it happened. It's so different seeing it live rather than on youtube. It's just so much more real and crazy watching it right as it happens. That fall was so unreal, especially how he was able to walk after it.
  11. You're acting as if you're buying a car here. Just buy a random 20 dollar one at staples or a similar store. You don't need advanced functions because unless every kid in the class has an advanced calculator (half won't even bother getting one), the teacher won't use those functions in instruction. Probably all you'll need are the basic +,-,/,x buttons.
  12. Of course I believed in ghosts when I was little.
  13. Thanks, I ended up just resetting my router. I tried getting the router to work (I'm on a different connection right now) but couldn't, so I'm just going to buy a wireless router so I can call the company for help configuring it.
  14. Yesterday on a forum I was using a guide on port forwarding for a game. I made a thread asking for help, but didn't get any answers. After that I tried changing the settings to enable UPnP (or something like that). Suddenly the router's password screen came up again, and the same password I had used minutes earlier didn't work anymore. I either messed my own login up toying around (although I didn't change much), or someone on the forum got enough of my information to somehow log into my router. If the latter is the case, I definitely want to do something. Right now I don't mind not being able to log into my router anymore because I don't really need to, but if someone has access to my computer, I definitely need to do something. I'm thinking someone might possibly have access, because under network connections there's an "internet gateway" that suddenly came up. It's possible I somehow did that trying to change router settings but since a gateway allows for shared computer internet access I'm thinking it might be bad. I called my router's company a few minutes ago only to find out my router was out of warrantee so if I did restart my router I'd either be on my own configuring it or have to pay $30 on a different call area. I'd like some advice. Is there any way to check if there is someone who has access to my router? Is there a way to reset my router password without resetting my router? I'd like to have the peace of mind that my internet security hasn't been compromised without having to spend hours fixing my internet. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
  15. Too bad the topic's a year old and the thread creator won't see it, but IGoddessI, that was pretty impressive. I knew there was something up, but you really nailed it.
  16. Did you mention your age to justify your ignorant racism? How the hell is rhyming Obama and Osama racist? Oh wait, I see, he's comparing Osama and Obama? No...Oh, he's calling Obama Osama! Listen, Racist's literally term is discrimination to a race. Or hatred towards a race. He's doing nothing of the sort, just being a 14 year old. If he were saying Obama is black and sucks in layman terms, or saying he's Osama, I would agree. But I don't bend and twist what someone says. If you don't like Obama, good for you. Say it better, like "Obama doesn't have enough political experience to win" because that is true. My friend got his autograph, and thinks it'll be worth millions when he wins. Now think "When" healready thinks he has the position locked. Come on. We have a year left. Don't assume. However, he's a die-hard democrat, nothing I can do there... In my opinion, Black people should take the white house, but this country will never be ready for it. At least until the racial number goes down. Never know, though, they could surprise us. It is probably more ignorant than racist, but it's racist in the sense that he's tying him to Osama, and if Americans (being pretty racist on the whole) think he is part Arab/Muslim, they're bound to to be even more likely to not vote for him.
  17. Don't worry, you're normal.
  18. Did you mention your age to justify your ignorant racism?
  19. Awesome - sounds like something to base a movie off of. :P
  20. Don't worry over it, you'll have a blast in highschool. During the first week if you get lost your teachers won't do anything. They expect kids to have some difficulty getting around. Go into the school a day before and walk out your schedule so you have an idea of where you're going. As for friends, with how you described yourself, you'll have no problems. Just talk to people, put an effort into it, and make friends early. There's probably going to be cliques so make sure you actually get into one so you can go with them to football games or whatever. Other than that don't stress it. Come into the school confident and ready to enjoy the new changes and friends you'll make.
  21. Did I miss it? When did we win the war? You can't say that until we pull out and democracy actually stays. Enough with terrorism and fear mongering. It's an issue but it should not be the forefront one. This war on terrorism shpeal should have been dropped a long time ago. There will always be people who hate our country but if we elect another leader like Bush, maybe and hopefully not Guiliani, this never ending war on terror will just get more and more out of hand. This climate of fear is so unnecessary. We don't need to be constantly told what the chance of a terrorist act each day is with that alert system. It'll be unfortunate if another terrorist attack occurs, obviously, but it's not an issue the country should be pouring so much tax into and this national obsession just needs to end so we can focus on actually advancing this country.
  22. You know, I don't love Bush but he's nowhere near as bad as you and many other people make him sound. If he were really as bad as you say, we either wouldn't be a stable country anymore or he would've been thrown out of office a long time ago. The democrats would have had him impeached awhile ago. Unfortunately they can't try because then the republicans running in '08 would be able to alienate their party from Bush's failures, so the Democrats need Bush to stay in office.
  23. Sure people can tell him they think he should go to the doctor, but medically, I don't know of any doctors that post here that could have any idea what's going on. If you want medical advice this kind of board isn't the best place to ask. You missed the sarcasm as relayed through the  . :P I thought you might have been sarcastic, but I wasn't sure. I so completely agree now that even if you think it's not anything, you still need to go to the ER. I can't find the link for it because the search isn't working, but back in January I had chest pain too. I thought it was a pulled muscle. After 3 hours of intermittent pain I decided to go the ER and it turned out that my lung had collapsed and I needed surgery. So definitely even if you're unsure you should always play it safe when it comes to pain around vital organs and go to the ER.
  24. He already took away habeus corpus. He basically abolished the fifth amendment, being able to outlaw anti-war protests. I could go on listing things, but his perspective on the constitution speaks volumes. "It's just a goddamned piece of paper." Honestly it's not even debatable whether or not Bush was a failure or not. Bartoron, nice effort trying to refute those points. I'd love to refute yours, but it would be a waste of time. The evidence is plain and out there to see. If the catastrophic failure he's already been hasn't been enough reason, what would it take from him to lose your faith in him? The 25% of people in this nation who support Bush still are lost. They're the same 25% of the nation who have blind enough faith to believe, as a poll showed, that this year, not in their lifetime, but this year, will be the year Jesus returns. If that many people can believe that, I'm not surprised at all Bush still has support out there.
