JagEx owns the game and wants to make members more attractive so they can make more money? Because thats how it rolls? Because we live in a capitalistic society not a communistic one? Because God hates you? Because you whine to much? Because its just a damn game?

Thats the problem with you people. You assume that you "deserve" something. You don't deserve it. The only things you may deserve are justice and basic human rights, and RS is not in there. Skill capes definitely are not in there. So if JagEx has decided that they think Skill Capes are members, either pony up the 5 bucks or quit your pathetic whining. So you got 99 f2p. Great, your a dedicated hard working person. You can fell all warm and fuzzy inside now. But if you want to be an arrogant person who shows off their l33t skills, pay 5 bucks.

If your to lazy/busy to pick up your damn arrows, then its your fault if someone else does. Hey, if I see a guy with tons of arrows around him ranging something, I will assume he does not want them. If theres only a few, I am guess he is doing his best to pick them up so Ill leave them. So either pick them up, or stop whining when someone else does.

I am with Ash on this one. If you sound like a prepubescent spastic moron who cant even string words together, it does not matter how smart or old you are, people will act like your a prepubescent moron. But if your a 12 year old who's in Jr High and type like and English major or close to it) people will treat you like someone who deserves their respect, because you act the part. Remember, you only get one first impression.

Thats because they kill you before you even see them comming. The way I see it, melee has their uber weapon, so the other sides need to step it up and get their own uber weapon. Range is pretty close with D arrows and c bow/shield, but mage... lacks. Though really they are all out offence so I guess its kinda balanced.

I just recently came back to RS after playing WoW for a year (dont kill me!) so I know it can lure you back. If your having fun with something else, bully for you. Heck, if they came out with a new Zelda/metroid every month, I would never ever play RS. Or anything by my wii and ds.

The most I would ever, ever give a noob is full steel with his choice of weapon. Other then that, he needs to learn how to make his own way in this game.

No addiction is good, but this one is surely less harmful then most.

I joined Clan Tension, it was too bad when it fell apart, I remember the good times I had with Gold Tiger and the others.

If your not having fun in RS, go play another game. The point of a game is to have fun. If you have fun getting EXP (I know I do) then good. If not, go do something else.

It is JagEx's game, and they can do whatever they please, but it would be smart to have a little more community support. Their forums are not the be all end all of RS communtiy. They suck rather badly actually.

I think JagEx is a wee bit to paranoid. They are like an overprotective parent who would never let anyone near their baby. its time for them to see that RS is all grown up and can play with the big boys. They should take a chapter out of Blizzards book and have "certified" fansites that they support since it adds to their player base and give players a good idea of what sites do and do not support illicit activity.

I think Guthix looks pretty sweet, but the gold is nice too.

Wait... Ranged is nerfed? Since WHEN did that happen?

It would be nice if they made RS full screen, but I dont really think it would impact me all that much.

:D Now thats a good idea, after Jagex took away the rune essence commerce between P2P and F2P, they're has pretty much been one way trades from P2P to F2P, with very little going the other way. And F2P could really use another skill, they have been pretty starved for updates for years (the stronghold of security and related items are horrible, the tutors are ok) and I think it would be nice of Jagex to give them more items. However, I doubt it will happen since Jagex has a strict no good new F2P stuff policy.

Regardless of weather password stealers are "hackers," this is an interesting idea, but I dont think it would work. If you already know theyre user name and password, and you really want the account, you could just spend some time playing with the caps lock to figure out what order is. Some names are only a few letters long, others contain numers (and they shouldnt be turned into symbols: differnt countrys have different symbols, that would confuse everyone) and a keylogger would bypass this imediatly. Interesting consept though.

Eliteism is really bad on Members Noobism is really bad on F2P Now Im not saying that those two (annoying) attitudes are mutually exclusive, but Members are more at fault because for the most part, Noobism is simply a result of lack of experiance. Of course, I have seen level 80-90 players still suffering from noobism. Eliteism is "I am better than you are, because I have better stuff, higher levels" ect. The solution- turn off public chat. (Not that its that great of a solution)
