Anybody else been having really good clue luck latley? The last four I did in a row all had a Treasure Trail exclusive item in them. (One of them was a Guthix Croizer... but still :))

I melee them with black mask/slayer helm and super att/str. Works very well.

Question, is that individual, or number of accounts created? I would assume the "10 million players" are only active accounts. Edit; The article says 105M users, but what would define a "user", each separate computer it has been played on?

At 63 Thieving, your best bet would probably be to loot all of both the 51 and 61 rooms. Maybe even some in the 41 room if you have extra time. The thing about Pyramid Plunder is that you have to fine tune your own strategy. The best inventory would be 4 Super Anti-Poison (4) and 24 Monkfish. From my experience this is an almost perfect food/potion ratio (this was at 75 hp though). Take a dose of potion at the beginning of each game, it lasts 5 minutes, the same amount of time a game of Pyramid Plunder lasts. Lastly, do the Contact! quest for a bank in Sophanem. Good luck!

I've heard oak dungeon doors are better then larders once you can make them, as they use up 10 planks at a time instead of 8. Purepure has basically covered every angle. EDIT: Won't make too much of a difference, but remember you'll be paying your butler every few trips also, so raise the cost a few hundred thousand.

Thanks for the tip! I'm at 62 currently and I have been getting about 70k/hr at bandits. I think I am going to due Contact! now since blackjacking is getting annoying. For PP, I would go to the level 51 room and search the urns, then go to the 61 room and do everything there, correct? I have been to PP once on another character, but it was a LONG time ago. Its all personal preference. You can either choose to loot urns in the 51 room until your timer is at the halfway point then head to the next room and loot them all (which is what I did) or you can do what you described. And I will stand by Pyramid Plunder as the fastest way to 99 Thieving any day, I was getting 180K xp an hour at level 81+ and upwards of 210K an hour at 91+.

The IV Generation Elite Four (plus one) is such a joke -.- Mine were similar to this in Diamond.

I remember the Pure Essence update being a big deal. Can't remember when the date was.

At 62, start doing Snapdragons as your herb. You get, on average, the same amount of profit or more than just ranarrs. I just finished a week of training farming, I only stopped because the seeds are curremtly being merched and are raising in price very fast. Once prices die down, I recommend Maple trees, Pineapple plants, Strawberries and Snapdragons (plus whatever you want in the other patches). If you doing a minimum of three farming runs per day, it should cover the cost of the tree seeds. But remember, currently pineapple seeds are sitting at 26K, almost double what they usually are. What would be the path for 99 cooking in f2p? Lobsters and swords?

I am going to be a f2p'er for a while, and I'm trying to think of something to do with my time. I'll be very limited because I won't have any bank slots, so I was thinking of just finishing off with 99 firemaking, current level being 92. Anybody have any better suggestions? I'm not looking forward too another 47 hours of Tinderbox --> Maple log, to be honest. Thanks :

I was planning on selling my Sara Sword for 8.2M this morning, bought it at 6.6. Now I can't even sell it at the current 7.5M minimum.

[hide=] [/hide] This is similar to the method I use now. I'm currently level 103, been going to barrows since level 75. What I recommend for the first try is to use the method where you use prayer on all 5 of the brothers, just so you can get the feel of it. Work your way up to the method depicted above, thats what I did. I've tried chaos gloves/fire bolts, ancients, melee, and the slayer dart method, and I can say that slayer dart is definitely my favorite and the least expensive. Ice_Goddess2 is correct when she says you hardly ever use prayer potions while doing it this way, the only reason you would ever need to use one is if you got a Dhorak tunnel. Barrows seems intimidating at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's fun, easy and profitable. Good luck!

Hey, I just have a short question here. I stopped playing RS in May of 2008 and just started up again today. I want to do some strength training, but I've noticed that the saradomin sword is worth 4M less than it was a year ago... Is there a new alternative that I should be aware of? Thanks!
