Harry Potter: The Order Of The Phoenix
[hide]Oh yes... "He's got style!" I was cracking up... And Umbridge reminds me of my principal. Their voices sound the same, they act the same. Anyways, Snape's low, evil voice in contrast to her happy, eager (And evil) voice was hilarious. Also...The cats. :XD: And finally, my favorite part. The battle. Who doesn't like a full out battle with crazy spells and people randomly yelling in Latin?[/hide]

What's up with google?
Yep. My friend and I were "doing research" in the computer lab, but we were actually screwing around with the computers. The next person to go on Google would need to know Zulu/Icelandic/1337 Speak in order to use it. But yeah...This is OLD.

Family History
I don't much either, but I'll try. My dad's parents are from the Hong Kong/Macao area. My dad's dad was in the Chinese army (I think) for a while. He was also an auto mechanic. My dad was born in Hong Kong while it was under British rule - So he has a British passport and a slight British accent. He's the fourth oldest child in his family. My mom's side is from Taiwan. Obviously, Taiwanese people have Chinese roots. So yes, my mom's side is still somewhat Chinese. My mom's mom was born and raised in Taiwan (I think) and is a famous (In Taiwan, at least) oil painter. Due to WWII (Or was it another war?), some Japanese culture still resides in her. My mom was born and raised near Taichung. She's also the fourth oldest in her family. Both my parents entered the medical field. My mom was a psychiatrist/psychologist (Forget which) and my dad a doctor, now a pharmacoepidemiologist (Sp?). He's one of the head pharmacoepidemisologists at the Harvard School of Public Health. Anyways, they met in the psych ward of the hospital they both used to work at. I forget it's name, but it's the same hospital where I was born. They moved the USA some time later on, and my sister was born in Boston. They moved numerous times after that...Within Massachusetts, as well as to places such as New Jersey. They eventually moved back to Taipei, Taiwan, where I was born. After another move within Taipei, we moved here, to the Boston area. We've lived here since then. As for uncles, aunts and cousins, they're pretty spread out. My dad's side is mainly in Mississauga and my mom's side in Taiwan. My family is pretty much your normal Chinese immigrant family.

Harry Potter: The Order Of The Phoenix
Wasn't the best, but wasn't too bad. It's not easy converting a 870 page book into a two hour movie. They did a great job on that. But they skipped a few parts that could be really important. They skipped... -The mirrors. According to J.K. Rowling, the mirrors will be very important. Although they weren't that important in the 5th book, it's going to be hard introducing them in the last book without any prior explanations. -The fact that Neville could be the one in the prophecy. It's always a possibility, and could even be the truth. It could be very important. It would be confusing, having Neville kill Voldemort instead of Harry. -Everything that Tripsis mentioned. But people that read the book wouldn't have any problems. And oh yeah, this was the funniest out of all of them so far. The first four stuck to the plot for the most part, and although there was the occasional humor once in a while, there was nothing too funny. Not the case here.

Harry Potter: The Order Of The Phoenix
I'm seeing it tonight. I forget most of the things that happened in the book, so that could turn out to be a good change. Of course, it could be the opposite and make me really confused, but that's not likely. Should be good. :D

Phobias?
I hope you don't mind me posting my fears, rather than phobias. (Is there even a difference?) Uh...Let's see...I'll try to make it in order of what I'm most afraid of to what I'm least afraid of. Death, fire, vehicular accidents, bugs, open heights, escalators, public speaking, dogs, glitter, and a few other things.

Favorite Amusement Park/Roller Coaster? [Pictures!]
I've only been to two amusement parks, Canobie Lake Park and Disney World (Florida). The only part of Disney that I like is Epcot Center...Especially the world part. It's awesome. But I don't think that's a ride, so I'll go back to Canobie...Which is awesome. The best ride is the Boston Tea Party, no doubt. I'll get a picture up later, but for now, you can Google image it or something.

Ignorant Christians
I stopped reading there. I'd run and hide in a hole if I were you. Maybe rent a spaceship and fly off to Jupiter.

What's Your Favorite Drink?
Poland Spring's water. I'm actually kind of serious. Barq's Root Beer is also good...

Fat(test) countries...
Aw, they don't have a separate thing for Taiwan. Oh well...I'll use China instead. 148! W00T! And I used to be extremely underweight, now I'm only underweight. I was at a doctor's appointment and she was happy that she finally had a patient that wasn't overweight. :)

Favorite Nintendo 64 Games?
Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Mario Tennis. Ah, I remember spending hours in my cousins' basement playing those.

How do you want to affect the world?
I've never wanted to be famous. But if I were to be remembered for something, or if I were to change the world, it'd probably be in the field of mathematics. Or computers. But once again, if I'm not remembered and don't change the world, I don't care. As long as I enjoyed my life (Which I am), I'm fine.

Weird Words
Heck, there is an entire song by Weird Al Yankovic, called, "Bob" that is made up of entirely palindromes, such as the one on the post below yours, "rats live on no evil star" There are also books out there that are palindromes. I remember that some guy sent me a long mail that was a palindrome. (And it made sense) The challenge was to find the middle. Hard. And oh yeah....A man, a plan, a canal, Panama.

Harry Potter realese date.
I think it's Harry's SCAR. Harry eventually finds out, and knows that either he and Voldemort both die or they both live. He, being courageous and valiant and all that, chooses that they both die. Neville then somehow kills Harry. The prophecy is fulfilled, two main characters die, Voldemort is destroyed, yet the ending is not "They all lived happily ever after". I have no guesses at what happens to Snape or any of the "bad characters".

The new 7 wonders of the world
My thoughts exactly. Why let normal people, some with little knowledge about all of them, do the voting instead of historians and government officials or whatever? What I would make it... Pyramids of Giza Colossus of Rhodes Great Wall of China Machu Picchu Colosseum Acropolis/Parthenon Can't decide on the last one. Taj Mahal/Petra/Lighthouse/Zeus

More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
I'd make the hair optional. Some people (Including me) aren't so big on changing their appearance...They like how they are now, and they want to stay that way. If they change it for this, they might forget their old appearance.

The new 7 wonders of the world
Are they keeping the old 7 as the "7 Ancient Wonders of the World"? If not, then I won't be happy. As for the new 7, the only two I voted for were the Colosseum and the Great Wall of China.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
I'm going to be on a plane for a good 24 hours a few days after it comes out, so why not read it on the way...I can't wait as I want to know what happens but I don't want the series to be over. (And has it really been that long since the 6th book came out? I remember I carried the book around with me the whole day...Started reading at 9 AM, finished at 7 PM. 10 hours of non-stop reading FTW.) Anyways... [hide=My Prediction] The main part is that Harry's scar is a horcrux. This means that it will have to be destroyed in order for Voldemort to be defeated. Therefore, Harry valiantly sacrifices himself in order to destroy Voldemort. Neville is the one to kill Harry, therefore fulfilling the prophecy. So Harry and Voldemort die. [/hide]

Your Religion?
I think the map only shows the most common religion in each country. There should be some maps of the US divided by state out there, if you want, go look for them. And wow, I never knew people in China practice Chinese religions. Amazing. And for the first map, I don't understand any of it. Can you find one in English?

What is your favorite meal/dish?
Fried rice.... Preferably with ham... I'm hungry.

Your Religion?
It depends on what form of Christianity. Some believe that just believing in God/Jesus and admitting your sins is enough. Others believe that baptism is what it takes. It's the opposite where I live. At my school, I think half of the people are Jewish. And there are few atheists...And barely anyone knows what agnosticism is...

Time to look for a new job -_-
A little more on-topic...If you get fired because of that, then I'd say good riddance. Your former boss doesn't sound too nice. You'll get a better job with a better boss.

Your Religion?
Likewise. For the entire post.
