This guy's commentary videos are really helpful in the beginning, and convinced me (as well as thousands of others) to buy the game: Just running around aimlessly in the beginning will probably turn you off the game rather quickly (it would me, anyway!). Also check out Minepedia's Crafting article. Shows you how to craft everything in the game.

It's one guy (who's from my city ). And he's currently in the U.S. having a chat with some company called Valve.

Holy crap, how did you get that tree so big? I want a treehouse as well. Also, I'd totally be game for a TIF server. I'm not much of an architect, but I'm good at gathering resources!

Caved in and bought it, and it is glorious. The night sequences [bleep]ing terrify me though - so yeah, screw playing this game with headphones on. Also the piano music is amazing.
-
Really itching to buy this game right now, it looks amazing. Unfortunately my budget isn't that great right now. Hm, gonna have to think about this!

This. Then after a while I put it to English. Pretty sure everybody does this. Conversations would be pretty awkward otherwise.

If I'm talking/writing in Swedish, I think in Swedish. If I'm talking/writing in English, I think in English.

So is there a way to reset your stats? I'm really regretting going on one of those achievement servers ~2 years ago. :( edit: nevermind, found it!

Be warned: the first three or four episodes are absolutely awful. I could barely make it through, they're that bad. But after that, it really does pick up. The last three episodes or so are pretty awesome. Plus you get to see [bleep]ing Xena nude. For the 10-year old in me, that was a magical moment.

Hear, hear. There was this one girl who threw a tantrum because she got a grey Ferrari instead of a red one. Oh but don't worry, after a few hours of sulking the young lady gracefully accepted her $400,000 present.

Whoa, I... think I like Justin Bieber. edit: Bieb O)))

"The Sniper" - Any multiplayer FPS.

That would be amazing. However, that may be how it is on an RP server, but not an RP-PVP server. They seem to be more lax on those sorts of rules. As for the naming policies, obviously you should avoid naming your character Bigsexybutt, but I had a char that just had a different spelling of a substantive as a name for several months (as did a lot of people in my guild), and nobody whined about "THEIR IMMERSION". So yeah. From my experience RP-PVP servers are just a more relaxed version of RP servers, where all the chill people from both RP and PVP servers play. Obviously some of the RP creeps are there but they are always fun to troll.

Sorry for double-posting, but I'm gonna go ahead and pitch a "EU TIF server" for those interested. How about Defias Brotherhood, horde-side? It's an RP-PVP server. A RL friend of mine plays there, and it's supposed to be almost idiot-free!

You seem puhretty gay to me. I'm not saying you are or are not, since you said you self you are not. I'm just saying, thats my obervation. I used to think I was attracted to girls as well.. Why do you think he's gay? Yeah, this makes no sense. You're saying this... based on one post where he mentioned he's into fashion? Disregarding how insane that actually is, at what point did you think it was alright to make a completely baseless comment about another person's sexuality like that? Any qualifications at all? Nope? Well, OK then. "You sound gay. Not saying you are. But probably." Not trying to be a [bleep] here, but holy [cabbage].

Not being biased or anything, but I would genuinely recommend my server, Frostwhisper EU. It's a PvP server and the population of horde:alliance is about 4:3. However, the horde is more PvP based and the Alliance is more PvE based, both have great guilds for raiding casually and hardcore (Check out wowprogress.com for more information) but horde usually have Wintergrasp more often than Alliance. There are world PvP guilds on both sides so if that takes your fancy then you can do that too. There is rarely trade chat spam, pick up groups are high quality, the forums are good banter as well. We have the best level 60 and 70 raiding guilds, well we did, I'm not so sure, on the EU side, people would transfer old characters over to continue old school raiding. Ah, while that sounds good, I'd prefer to play on a server where at least a few people from here play. Ideally ones who are just starting out - or have low level alts. Before I had a credit card I think I remember going to the game store every month to buy 30-day cards. This was back in 2005-2006 though.

So, was a EU TIF server ever settled? Thinking of starting my 10 day trial, heh!

Ah, Fates Warning is a great band (Spectre Within is probably my favourite album too). Haven't listened to them in a while, thanks for the reminder.

Yeah, Arrested Development along with Black Adder are probably my favourite comedies of all time. Always Sunny is fantastic as well (and so damn quotable). I also agree that too many sitcoms rely on laugh tracks nowadays. It's like they constantly need to remind us to laugh because they know their jokes are [cabbage] (case in point: 2½ Men). It's just lazy. But hey, it demonstrably works on Joe Sixpack. edit: To clarify, I realise many sitcoms in the '90s used laugh tracks as well. But in my opinion shows like Cheers, Seinfeld, Married with Children, etc. could definitely stand on their own - whereas shows like 2½ Men and According to Jim can not.

Lil dude is literally swimming in 30 year old cougars, you just can't hate on that. All of you wishing physical harm on a little kid are edgy as hell though!
-
'Allo 'Allo! I love that show. "I was pissing by the door, when I heard two shats. You are holding in your hand a smoking goon; you are clearly the guilty potty." Oh, Officer Crabtree. As for me, Black Adder, Seinfeld, 'Allo 'Allo, Airwolf (!), Knight Rider, Fresh Prince and Cheers is what made my afternoons when I was growing up.

I can't think of a name for your subculture but I can definitely see it. The guy who wear a skinny blazer on top of a deep scoop neck tee, followed by a pair of tight jeans and smart shoes. Hah, not really. I've worn a blazer and tie maybe five times in my life. I don't think I really understand this subculture thing, if it's defined by the clothes you wear or your personality. I guess one influences the other though. People I meet just tend to assume I play an instrument, hence the aesthete part.
-
I buy almost all my clothes from Topman, so uh... British? Otherwise, I guess aesthete. My personality type is ESFJ though!

Animal Collective is great. I love My Girls personally. Anybody heard of Emancipator? He's brilliant.

Thought I might plug my friend's band, Hollywood Make Believe. They just recorded their new EP. It's not very metal-y, but eh, it's certainly more metal than it is electro (let alone hip-hop). My friend's the singer. http://www.myspace.com/HOLLYWOODMAKEB Not really my type of music. If you like Paramore and the like you'll probably like this, since they're big fans of 'em.
