  1. Hi there, I believe the leather is used when fixing the bellows? Is is possible that you found some leather in one of the crates of the central room while you were doing the quest?
  2. That might just be luck. I have 5 subjects on maples also, and over the course of several months I have received: 13 Saradomin 13 Zamorak 10 Guthix 2 Raven

~The below reflects my personal opinion, and not in any way that of Tip.It staff or crew, just for the record~ It seems Jagex learned nothing from the critics last time, and there simply (to my knowledge) is no reason that has not been countered in the past for why it is a good thing. There are quite a few negative sides to it, and I don't really see why it is necessary. Also, to Ralag - I don't quite understand this: Is "bang" not fun, rather than xp?
  4. Wear it where? Wear it while mining. It's a reward from the Varrock Achievement Diary, and will give you a chance at more ores per rock. Personally I feel "powermining" is a waste. For speed iron with banking is pretty good, though until you can access the Living Rock Caverns powermining still is fastest.
  5. Hi there Hawkxs, Thanks for pointing that out. I've made the change and credited you. Cheers, ~Jafje
  6. You might want to look at the details of the Amulet of Nature and Amulet of Farming to understand the difference. As for using them for herbs, not really worth the trouble in my opinion. Herbs take 80 minutes to grow, and it's not required to do a run right after they do, which is why I don't use them. I wouldn't farm too much ranarr - toadflax, avantoe, and kwuarm (among others) are better generally speaking.
  7. I'm assuming the signature you have is the account you intend to do the smithing on? -In that case I wouldn't waste my time on iron bars, but I guess that's a matter of preferance. Anyway, the furnace in Edgeville would be most suited for your use. You will need to complete parts of the Varrock achievement diary to be able to access it. Wielding a Varrock armour will also increase the speed at which you smelt. Using a ring of forging will increase the amount of correctly smelted bars as well. As for smithing - No place like next to Varrock's west bank.
  8. Personally mainly use pineapples - you can get 40 from Arnhein in Catherby for 80 gp every day. On allotment/herb runs I usually take 15 pineapples (or occasionally other supercompost items) to the Falador patch as this is the first location I go to, and put 15 in the Catherby one as well as that's close to bank. Basically you can use tree roots, pineapples etc on the same load without messing up the compost, but it must be 15 items that result into supercompost - adding even one weed would turn it to regular. Harmony patches are too much effort in my opinion. As for using an amulet of farming - not usually, though that depends on what you plan to farm and the other requirements you meet.
  9. Hi there, Perhaps a slightly strange question, but when did you get the drops?
  10. Hi there Aurhora, Welcome to Tip.It  You mentioned screenshots? They would be welcome indeed. NikolaiH, I'm not sure if you noticed, but this section of the forums is for submissions as well, so Aurhora's post is not only exactly in the right place, but also appreciated. Thanks, ~Jafje
  11. Meh, I find it's best to do whatever you feel like doing at the minute - got me a bunch of fairly decent skills, if I say so myself. Basically: grinding = bad - do a skill because you feel like doing it. Otherwise, if you want a fast 99 for the sake of having one, try magic with plankmake, fletching with mages, or fm on yews. Expensive, but fast.
  12. Well you're welcome in the one I'm in. Basically a group of old and new RuneScapers; we help newer players and basically just have random fun, events and whatnot. Feel free to pm me in-game or on here for further info if you're interested.
  13. Hi there, Did you take any screenshots by any chance?
  14. Since after skimming this page it seems the others have been answered, I'll answer this one: 2. Basically there's clans or groups of players that do skilling or combat together, there's also clans for certain minigames such as Stealing Creation and activities like Godwars/bosshunting. Personally I am in a "guild" or clan for the chatter and community. This is also a "use" in my opinion - just a fun group of players you interact with, or a place where knowledge is shared. Hope that helps to clear up some of the uses clans can have.
  15. As I remember, Fareed was the easiest of the four - any d'hide or even magic robes will do, just autocast your water spell (magic was quite effective, so I'm guessing at your level it will do just fine too). You don't actually need the ice gloves, as mentioned, and you don't really need anything particularly decent aside from food and runes. Pray melee, bring some decent food and you'll be more than fine.
  16. Hi there, As Paw_Claw explained the situation this topic's issue has been resolved. If memory serves, you get the full experience by handing in the fragments, and talking to the NPC's until you see the finished message. I'll lock this topic now - if you have any further questions please don't hesitate to pm any of the crew. Thanks, ~Jafje

Actually since the update 4 days ago, when people request the assistance of maxed people, the one requesting assistance will see a message showing how long the person they requested the assist from is maxed for. The assist request will not even show to the maxed player in question.
  18. I did the quest not too long ago - it was exactly as it is in the guide.
  19. Jaffy1 replied to Bdvo89's topic in Help and Advice
I use the notes section myself.
  20. I believe they do drop level 3 clues.
  21. Jaffy1 replied to Bdvo89's topic in Help and Advice
Only by remembering what time you first assisted the day before I'm afraid.
  22. They do not drop elite clues. If you're looking for lists of creatures that drop various clues, you might want to look here. Hope that helps.
  23. Hi there, As the above posters have said, the clue you're referring to is an Uri's Emotes clue. You can find those here. There is a picture with the exact location on that page as well, in case you still need it. I will lock this topic as its issue has been resolved - If you have any further questions, feel free to send me a pm. Thanks, ~Jafje
  24. Hi there BrutalxBrandon, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have made the change to our guide and credited you. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to send me a pm. Cheers, ~Jafje
  25. Hi there Ordalca, Thank you for your submission! I have made changes to the Runecrafting skill guide and credited you. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to send me a pm. Thanks again, ~Jafje
