actually, i decided to red-scale it. its goint to be orangey yellows, reds, and a deep shade of blue. inspried by a piece by my frend, and deiced to use her colors =O this is not my first btw, mearly the first wip i have ever posted. half decent pixeler if you even care about my oppinion. yes i think i shall fix the arm, but i already did part of the sidewalk, so i dont think im going to lower the view thing. possibly will try to enlarge the people tho. might be difficult redoin the linework =(

nope, im with you on this one. his girls always look really bulky. possibly a result of his linework tho, not his anatomy. dont misinterperate this, but your lines kinda "jerk around" a bit, again, could be just me. *slaps reddrawn because his name is reddrawn*

its not teh black outlines on the people, its the inconsistancy of the outline color. he has black outlines on the people, and look at everything else? colored lines. thats why they look out of place. ive nagged him for a while about it too, but he wont quit. its like smoking. hes smoking black outlines. sorry for going off topic.

rock, wood, brick, bush/grass. ive seen that tutorial. dont use the bush/grass thing. mainly for iso, not really regualr pixeling. btw nice linework. few things. the mualer looks like a hippie because he has tight cloths and bell botems. he looks like he is going to a disco =P next, rocker snowman is sick, jack frost is cool too. headless-horseman-with-an-amaisingly-huge-crotch! yay! i think i may have to shade him in? possibly try a new style? yep. i think so. but i will have to remove that huge lump.

jpg is terrible in any program. dont. gimp is xcf to save layers and all, or good ol png on a flattend image. imo, im probably one of the best gimp users on this forum, and i can teach you a whole lot about making anything from cartoons to digi-painting. for your next sig, a few tips. brushes- get and use them. color is your frend- use it. believe it or not, there are more filters on gimp then on photoshop- use them i can be alot more helpfull then this, i can give you cc, tut links, pretty much anything you need for gimp, feel free to pm me. right now im short on time, so im out.

no offence but your face looks terrible imo. you shaded it left to right, which gives it almost no texture. his mouth makes him look sad. his nose is mishsapen. my mom is screeming at me to get off the computer. so se yeh

what it needs is - more defined light source - more depth. as of now, there is little to none - more "flow". i can see you were trying to create it with those lines, but it really just doesnt do it for me. it also looks like you did the cad method :-w cant say i havent tried it myself tho #-o - prehaps also increce the text's opaquency by ~15-20%? also, sorry for accusing you of ripping a while ago. at that time, i was getting <6 hours of sleep a night, studdieing for 4+hours a night for my mastery tests and standard assesments, while being the starting quarterback for my football team (got injured halfway thru the season, which ended 2 weeks ago), and still trying to get onto the net to talk to my frends, and keep in shape with my pixeling. at that time i was pissed at the world, and would have snapped at anyone, which just happened to be you. again, sorry.

gimptalk.com is the place for you. also, include brush packs. lots of brushes. can never have to many. renders also. lots of renders. personally i have 2 gigs of renders. can never get nuff of em. c4d, anime, you name it ive got it. next, make sure you have some patterns set in gimp, such as scanlines, gridlines, and some other stuff. if you arent poor, get em a tablett, include a tutorial on digipainting. if you need help on any of that stuff (brush links, tutorials, or whatever, feel free to post here or pm me.)

mostly sucks because its two incredably contrasting colors, with no lighting, depth, or flow. to me, this looks like you oppened up photoshop, used 1 splater brush, clicked once, downloaded a random font of dafont, and used the other defualt color and wrote your name in big, blockey, unatractive letters. is that cc enough for you?

how do you smooth the colors without using a blur tool or airbrush then? im asking because i always have to use the airbrush or blur thing, so how do you do it?
