The HW is a pain too because it gets graded so you have to try. This past semester: fav: Writting teacher was great and loved my work least fav: Chem, hated the teacher and my TA always trying to be a pain, so pissed I got a B in that class. :x

That was very well put. And I'm sure a family of 5 would be much happier to live here with a decent income, than on some island, but if it is one or two people, it may be very different. With a family, if you die, you are letting someone down. Without one, if you die, it doesn't physicaly hurt anyone else. Yes. But I would first have to learn how to live there. (ie. how to fish, hunt, skin/gut animals/fish, and cook them. woow I bet you haven't ever even been camping, I bet you never spent a day without your computer posting on tip.it and playing runescape. Tell me an experience that would tell me that you would be fine living w/o technology for the rest of your life. Where would you learn to live your life, where would you learn to cook and fish and raise crops? These things don't just pop up in your mind, where in the world are you going to learn that from? Also your telling me you are willing to leave your family? Love and family is one of the neccessities of survival, I don't know if you know that. You can't live w/o someone not caring for you or you caring for someone. Not possible. Also where exactly are you talking about this hippie utopia where everyone is happy just farming and cooking and being self-sufficient w/o any technology. I would really like to know. I feel like your just talking about the amish, and even they send their kids to school. Any half decent place in the world send their kids to school, and college if they can afford it. No one ever passes up that opportunity. Even in Africa, even in poor parts of Africa. I really wanna hear you give a name of this uneducated utopia that you are talking about.

I don't believe this should be even discussed, this is like a scientific fact. What Thomas is saying is completely redicoulous, and has not grasp of what real life is really like in modernized and third world countries.

They have done studies you know, I don't remember numbers exactly but it is said that money does buy happines to a certain extant. A family of 5, will only be happier with a higher income until $40k annual earnings. After that, happiness would not increase. It is true money really doesn't buy happines, I mean plenty of rich people are misreable. Ofcourse there are plenty of rich people who are extremely happy they are rich as well. What people are saying is that, money doesn't guarentee anything. Money = happiness. What you do with the money can make it easier to achieve your happiness. If you spend the money to go on a trip with your kids and wife, you will be happy you had the money. If you spend your money to put your kids through school, you will be happy you had the money. I mean, I would love to be able to have money to take care of my mother after she retires, that would make me very happy. 50% of divorces are based on financial reasons, so if you have the money to avoid financial problems wouldn't you be happy. Ofcourse school isn't just about getting to be rich, its securing a future. You won't be happy working in McD's, but even if you are able to get a half decent job, your future will be very unstable. You are more likely to become unemployed, and then have a harder time finding a job. School is there to secure your happiness, because the study above shows that money can buy happiness to a certain point. Ofcourse its not to say you can't be happy w/o an education, its just saying there is a higher chance that you will be happier with an education. EDIT: oh and for people saying oh look at people living in the Third World Country, plenty of them are happy. There is a lot of grief and sickness there too, talk to someone who has been in places like those often. Its not to say people there don't find happiness, its just their happiness is more comprimising then our own. If you moved there right now, you would not be happy, as much as you like to think you might be. @trapical: good point too many people have watched too many movies about stem cell research can lead too.

no lol, i found the render misunderstood your post, my bad realized later. Its alright, it seems just a regular brushed bg with just repeating patterns no real detail. You should have atleast somehow blended the guy into the background

pretty cool, but the bridge of the nose is very crooked. I don't know if you necessarily need a background, maybe some city lights. You can't really make it to elabirate because you don't have much background space.

saw that coming a mile away, still not a bad movie though. my favs would be The Usual Suspects and probably Planet of the Apes. Talking about magician movies, The Illusionist springs to mind for a not so bad twist.

Ask for a raise, and be polite about it (dont mention the other guys paycheck). Maybe he is getting paid more than you because he is more qualified, that usually happens, same job but who ever has the better education usually get paid more. Sorry your feeling blue, but the fact that you realize your problem means its probably not just depression but your having some outlook on your life. Like somone said, it might be a good idea to take a day off and do what you want (dont play rs all day, thats not going to help you :P). 12 Hours a day is rought, but let me tell you in college I get up at 8 and after classes, work, and hw I am usually done by 11 -12 (if no tests coming up) thats 15-16 hours, plus i do a lot hw on the weekends. If you don't like your career look for a new one, ask for a raise, or even a promotion of some sort, you can't get fired for asking. Plus you have a wife who loves your, not many people have that, not many at all.

It matters what University you go to, and what your major is.
