But yeah, Dutch is a hard language. An example that still almost no Dutchie can do right: 'He becomes' means in Dutch ''Hij wordt''. Now, 'I become' means ''Ik word''. The difference, a ''t'' after the d is still very hard to understand to know when you have to put that ''t'' there. Well, I'm decent in it now. But I still make faults with it. :P No, that's the easy part of dutch (for foreigners). It's a rule and that rule always aplies. The hard part of dutch is the writing. We have some things which we pronounce excactly the same but are written different. like: the "g" and "ch", "au" and "ou". There are harldy no rules for such things and it's hard to lear for people with dyslexia and foreingers. Dutch is also very irregular, I can't give a good example because I've never ahad any problems with dutch writing. But I'll ask my sis who has dyslexia what the hardest things are.

Yeah, that's a good point, though all of the surveys I have seen aren't thought-provoking or prone to debate. Places to alch? What level you became a member? Worst moment in RuneScape? Bleh. I'm siding with Muggi on this one. Unlike most other survey threads, this one will most likely spark a lively discussion about, as the title says, the different reasons why people play. I hope you're ironic here too. I mean, this is just gonna be a thread on which all post there reason and there won't be any discussion at all. Just because there is no "wrong" reason for playing rs. On topic: I just liket this game, but I can never why I like something. And tbh I really wonder why all those people play this

There is a guy named "who plays rs", I wonder or he got it from my name (who plays).

Iron is quite a good alterniative, slower but you can make money with it by making knifes and you don't need "expensive" coal for it. And, but people don't realize this, so it's hardly significant, gold with gauntlets is pretty good xp too. I think the "normal" players will start with these when the nat/steel bar prices will increase hugely. IMO the demand isn't very high because most of the items do harldy have any real use values. The only items worth buying stat wise are the kite, range hat and mage ammy. All the other items have stats wise better alternatives. But I still wonder why the kite isn't good enough for staking.

Only farming isn't like that, and that's why people hate it :roll: . But I really doubt Jagex is out of ideas, there is still so many to add.

People hate this skill because it is different. You can do "power farming" or something. You can't farm for like 3 hours straight. Tell me, why is farming boring and is cutting a tree for hours and hours fun? Or killing the same monster hundreds of times? Of fish a single fishing spot for hours? Do I have to go on? The runescape community hates every kind of change. Every time time something changes, (almost) everybody hates it. Don't believe me? Just check the official rants forum just after any update. So to me, it's more the root of the problem is in the community and not in the skill.

You just totally crushed my levels ans self-esteem. You owned me in everything besides mellee, craft, farm and mining. Nah, just joking But very Good Luck, you're levels totally own. Especcialy you're runecrafting. I really doubt if I will ever get any higher then 80 in that skill. Now update you're sig. And how do you get up there?

I just have a very minor update to the lunar mage guide. With the superglass making spell, you don't need to cook the seaweed, it will be cooked automaticly if you cast the spell. And you get aproximalty 1.3 glass each set of items used instead of 1.5. I said it would be very minor =P.

I don't like it. But as with almost everything, I can't say why I like it (or not). I even can't say why I like playing runescape so much =P.

It was cool to have a f2p lvl 3 skiller, but now everyone has it. To me it's neither cool or special anymore. So why don't you train on you're main? I mean having a very high level main is good too.
