I always thought the chromatic dragons were already the colours of the gems. Blue dragon, weakest, sapphire Green dragon, emerald Red dragon, ruby Black dragon, strongest, not really diamond coloured but that was my original reasoning.

For a start I've never heard of Blizzcon but if you could just let me, for arguments sake, rip apart your post for a moment. Runefest - Blizzcon. If the names were comparible it would be called Jagcon or WoWfest. One takes the beginning of the game name and attaches Fest to the end, the other takes the Developers name and attaches Con. I dont know if you've ever heard of Comic-Con (ext 1970) or Dragon*Con (est 1987), Silicon (1986), UberCon (2002), Starcon (1973) and MAGFest (2002) [i could go on and on] but there have been gaming conventions for just generic "everything goes" to specific ones for D&D or Magic The Gathering for YEARS going back into the 70's and probably earlier. Blizzcon wasnt the first of its kind for ANYTHING, why must people always compare Runescape to WoW as if it invented everything? Booze... considering its a big event where most of the people are adults it makes sense to have a bar. I just hope they don't sell any Wizards Mind Bomb as I don't want to get lost on the way home. The format for the event is pretty standard Convention type event, there is northing here that particularly copies Blizzard over any of the other gaming conventions that have been held in the last 40 years. I would be worried if only 5 people bought tickets too but I think we both know thats pretty unlikely. As for hundreds of people coming to the event to talk about Runescape... isn't that the point? You arguments comparing Blizzcon and Runefest is one of the worst constructed posts i've ever seen. Epic fail. Obviously we have no statistics on the email registration but if the Facebook event is anything to go by pretty much 90% of the people who said they are either "attending" or "maybe attending" are either underage (going by their picture which I know isn't really a scientific method) or are in countries thousands of miles away. Yes I understand that people might look young in their picture (I don't look 25) and that people might be saving up, but when what looks like a 12 year old from Panama says "attending" you know its complete bs. Hopefully the 6 of us planning to go and meet up will all be able to make it. A few of us have met before but others of us have not. We vary in age but I am the youngest. It sounds pretty fun. I dont see it as a bunch of nerds meeting up for a Runescape convention and more of a chance to meet some good friends i've known for years online in a comfortable setting, and also get some sneak previews at upcoming updates. I hope we wont all be logging on at some point for an event tho, I don't want people seeing how nooby my bank is lol. And @3hitm4g3u. Don't dis getting drunk and talking about Runescape til you've tried it. :D

Mmm reading on the guide it looks like the other slayer masters now just offer a task like the 280 TzHaar that Kuradal already can assign in the TzHaar Fight Caves. http://www.runescape.com/l=0/kbase/guid/slayer_challenges Kuradal offers nothing new.

I thought you can get them for all slayer masters? Jagex said that "They each have their own unique request" which to me suggests that you can only get the special task from the relevant slayer master. i.e Kuradal wont ask for the slayer tower monster kill thing.

I was hoping for Elite diaries but the slayer challenges might be fun, kinda depends what they are really. A bit rubbish that you have to go to a lower slayer master for a chance at the special tasks though. Not interested in doing loads of tasks for Vannaka and getting crap exp and points while trying to get the dragons.

The lamps from the ardy diary could only be used on skills 80+

Sine when did anyone care what Alexa says about website ranks? They only count people with their crappy toolbar anyway and as a huge number of people play via the client and miniclip those figures will be much lower than reality.

Just gonna say mid 2001. The date you started is useful to Jagex to prove ownership of an account. I'm not going to be revealing it. And I never understood why the Recovery questions screenshot with an old date is something to be proud of, I regularly change mine.

I don't want to see anyone banned for this, there has been a rollback so noone gained any advantage but other people will have lost out on slayer drops, trades, exp in other skills so I think a punishment is deserved. Abusers should be banned from training the new skill for 2 weeks.

A little disasapointed in the new 120 cap. I'm sure maxed people will be happy as having something new to aim for but for the regular user who doesnt get to play very often getting to the max level has gone from being something very difficult but ultimately attainable, with a bit of hard work, to something which I don't ever see happening ever. It is now not just a distant goal for me, such as 99 prayer, but something I know will be impossible for me to ever attain. There is no fun in knowing you can never "complete" a game. It can already be enough of a grind to make you go insane getting to 99, I cant imagine the RSI you'd get from click click clicking your way to 120. My best stats are: Attack (104) 22,669,288 exp Defence (104) 23,055,670 exp Strength (104) 22,387,933 exp Hitpoints (104 21,913,991 exp And apart from combat stats my only skills above 99 are: Fishing (100) 14,663,490 I've only got 237,038,266 total exp in ALL SKILLS. Dividing that by 104m would give me just two skills at level 120. I worry what will happen to skills which are already extremely expensive such as prayer and herblore if you can raise them over 99. Depressing.

A quick glance at the transcripts seem to suggest that when MMG gave his affidavit he didn't do it by sending a letter he was on the phone in court via Skype. I will have a more detailed read later.

I think the general gist is that Bruce won the case BECAUSE his comments were fact. If there was no basis then he would have lost the case. I don't agree with a lot of what Bruce comments about (especially with regard to piracy... I don't pirate games either) and he does like to pick fights with people but in this case he is 100% right. I have sent Bruce an email asking for a copy of the transcripts when he gets them and will post what MMG said when he does.

Bruce has posted to say when he gets the transcripts he will either email them to anyone that wants them or will post them online.

Evony brings the whole genre into disrepute. War of Legends is not only a similar game in style and looks but is also based on the same original RXSG source code as Evony was built on (albeit vastly improved).

Evony aren't short of cash though, it wont hit them hard in the pocket unless the players stop paying for thier "free forever" game. One of the figures Bruce uncovered was them making about $150k a day from buffs and coins etc.
