  1. http://smoothjazz.com/ I listen to their online radio a lot when doing homework (or use it as background music during 'private' moments), and their listening loft is a great source for new music. The only jazz album I own physically is Koop Island Blues by Koop, although that's more of a jazz fusion album.
  2. The only rock band I'll listen to on any kind of regular basis is Rainbow. Temple of the King is one of the best songs ever written.
  3. First of all most of us didn't know exactly what had happened when we posted. Second, it's simply not our place to judge. If there's an afterlife he'll have to deal with what he did there. Third, everybody who knew him will tell you that he was, up until the moment he snapped, a good man who inspired thousands with his performance in the ring. He was respected and loved as a father figure and mentor behind the screens. He'll be sorely missed.
  4. You really should. It's yet another tribute to Nintendo's unsurpassed ability to translate their 2D classics to 3D (Mario 64, Metroid Prime, etc.).
  5. Majora's Mask seemed very different from the other Zelda games in several ways. First of all you only had four dungeons, but you spent a lot more time in the 'overworld'. Second of all the whole mood of the game was a lot darker, with stuff like the zora that gives you the mask and the whole character of the Skull Kid.
  6. I'm no expert, so I didn't know that they could be relubed afterwards. If so, I guess a citrus-based cleaner makes sense. And it's not the citrus that dissolves the grease, it's the citric acid in it, which is indeed perfectly natural.
  7. If I remember high school chemistry, any citrus based cleaner will disolve the grease in the bearings, making them pretty much useless.
  8. Any takers on a 'terrorist attack' two days before the elections?
  9. Reminds me of this story where a three year old girl died after walking away from home - a man had passed her in his car but was afraid to pick her up because he thought he'd be accused of abducting her.
  10. Well, we've had topics like this before, but this one is new so here goes :) http://www.simpsonsmovie.com/main.html The button is at the top of your screen. You don't have to register, just use printscreen.
  11. I'll finally have both the time and the money for Twilight Princess next week \
  12. http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/benoitdead A great entertainer and a great human being found dead, along with his wife and son. He left a house show on friday and missed last sunday's PPV due to 'family business'. Although nobody was sure what exactly was going on, pretty much everybody thought it was due to the passing of longtime friend and former tag team partner Beef Wellington. I honestly don't know what to think about this. Professional wrestling has always been a guilty pleasure for me. Chris Benoit was a true athlete and one of the most highly skilled entertainers in the business. Although he did come between WCW booker Kevin Sullivan and his wife, he seemed like a good person, one of the few in 'the business' that didn't get caught up in the usual follies of superstardom. To think that he somehow took active part in this tragedy seems almost impossible. I think this is the first showbiz death in a long time that's actually affecting me...
  13. You're already using imageshack, just use their thumbnail option
  14. I've moved the text up a bit and reduced the opacity of the wires. Better? It's been PM'd.
  15. I've changed my opinion often enough, but I guess we don't see it much here is because it's percieved as a sign of weakness. This makes people a lot more stubborn than they should be. I found it hilarious how, during the last elections in America, people thought Kerry was unsuitable as a president because he changed his opinion on certain issues after he recieved new information on the subject. I'd rather have a president who is willing to recognize that his past choices might have been bad because he didn't know all the facts than a president who blindly stays the course in the face of overwhelming evidence that his policy is actually flawed.
  16. How do you listen to your music on your computer? I have all my music sorted by album in a single folder. Pretty much the whole thing is put together in a single playlist file on my desktop that I usually listen from (the playlist is hidden under this post for your scrolling pleasure) on shuffle. Besides comedy, I rarely sit down and listen to one whole album.[hide]How do you listen to your music on your computer? I have all my music sorted by album in a single folder. 19. You forgot the part where they went into her home with the camera crew and made fun of her for not playing, then broadcasted that on national television. If they hadn't done that, I'd've considered that lawsuit frivolous.
  20. People starting topics that were done less than two weeks ago...
  21. Fire druid (hell was hell until I found a weapon with Lower Resist charges) or summonmancer.
  22. Did you actually read the article? He gets to play the music while he works, wear clothes that fit the music and time off to go to concerts. Doesn't sound like he's gone deaf to me.
  23. Don't know if this should go in the music forum, but... Now where's my check? :uhh:
  24. The Wii version actually sounds pretty awesome: Nintendo, kiddy? :-k
