Nightwish!
One of their April Fool's jokes was that their shop would be stocking 'Marco Beard Construction Kits', two little braids and a bottle of glue :P Yeah, I'm curious to the new single too. I'm surprised it hasn't leaked yet.

New sig - Electronic Angel
Couldn't get my old sig to work (compression trouble), so I whipped this up in stead...

New sig... need some help with compression though...
PNG 24: GIF 128: If you can't see the transparancy, get a better browser. Otherwise... you know you want to click it : Still working on the white stuff though, which should be visile on most forum skins except probably SubSilver. I could use some help with that. I guess you could rate it (the upper one), but mostly I'd appreciate someone helping me compress it to something I can use here... ~edit: Temp version with a background...

Old or New resident evil controls?
Don't be quick to knock off the old system. The fixed cameras were necessary to maintain the mood of the game. The Playstation simply couldn't support a moving camera and still maintain enough detail in the backgrounds. Once you got used to it, the aiming never really was a problem, since most of the time you'd only be turning left or right to aim. I think the 'old' controls worked great once they figured out some minor details that made a world of difference, like the ability to turn 180 degrees with a single button.

Harder than Chinese algebra
"They encapsulate the challenge facing this country," says Dr Pike. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/education/6589301.stm For those of you who can't be bothered clicking the link, here's the Chinese pre-entry test: And here's the English University first-year test: The Chinese problem looks like something I'd expect in my fifth or sixth year of high school, the English one... first year to be honest. Interestingly enough, the second one is something I'd use every day in the field, since the 3:4:5 ratio is perfect to set out a grid over a digsite with a single measuring tape.

Boris Yeltsin - Another one bites the dust
Considering his track record when it came to drinking and eating, I'm surprised his liver and heart didn't say 'sod this' and abandoned ship ages ago...

Final Fantasy
You're doing it wrong then. It's still pretty good though :P (I left out my comment regarding clowns for the sake of general sanity...)

biggest college shooting in history
Indeed you little pill-popping pig, putting several cases of bullets into people that irritate you is such a liberal thing to do.

Gamecube Games
RPG: Can't go wrong with Tales of Symphonia. You'll easily clock 50 hours on your first playthrough, and due to a massive amount of side quests and the replay options you'll need at least 150 hours to complete it 100%. The combat system is fully realtime and 3D, and supports up to four players at once. Adventure: The remake of the original Resident Evil would be a good choice. It's been given a complete graphic overhaul, most of the puzzles were redone, and an entire side storyline including two boss fights has been added in. A must-have if you haven't played the original, but even if you have there's still enough new stuff in it to keep you entertained. Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem: One of the first cube games. Lovecraft themes, mostly adventure, but plenty of (realtime) combat moments. Beyond Good and Evil: Very colourful, very entertaining. The only downside is that it eats up a huge chunk of memory card space. FPS: Timesplitters: Future Perfect. Probably the best console FPS out there (sorry, Halo fanboys). Story mode that can be played through alone or in co-op, challenges, and bucketload of multiplayer options for up to four players.

South park season 11 [Epsidoe 1106 out!]
I loved the shot of Randy holding up the half-decapitated body of the guy he got. "Look Glenn, we're saved!"

Party Fouls?
One time we kind of mummified someone's kid brother to a streetlight with tape (leaving his head clear). Then we kinda... forgot about him :-w

Favorite Video Game Weapon
The dart gun in Timesplitters 3. No damage, but in about ~30 seconds the target swells up to the point of 'sploding. (S)he does quite a lot of splash damage, so if you're hit (you can tell by your vision distorting) you can still take out quite a few opponents.

Command and Conquer 3 Teberium Wars!!!
Ok, finished the GDI campaign, and played NOD op until Sarajevo. I have to say, watching 20 avatars part like the red sea to let a truck full of liquid tiberium pass through in full 3D was pretty cool to watch.

Do you watch wrestling?
Kane lost his match in a mask vs. title match against Triple H, somewhere around 2003. Good call on ROH :)

Untitled (Contains two people in love, you're warned >.>)
He let out a long sigh as he let himself fall down on the leather-clad bench at the back of the train. It was only April, but the past few days had been warmer than he had ever thought possible this early in the year. Even now, with the setting sun painting a wide orange band across the horizon the temperature was still high enough to make him sweat simply from dragging around a bag full of clothes. The bag was now resting in the overhead compartment, but he was still panting slightly from the effort of getting it in there. He slowly seemed to sink into the orange leather as the train started moving westward. He absentmindedly scanned the rest of the train car. It was rather sparsely populated. A family with two children. Some students who, like him, had returned to their parents for the weekend for free food and clean clothes, and to his right, on the bench across the isle, a bombshell. Her blonde hair, cropped close to the base of her skull, seemed to light up in the last rays of sunlight. She was one of the few women he knew could make his heart skip a beat on sight. Being taken completely by surprise, it skipped several. It had been nearly two years since he last saw her. She hadn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t changed one bit. She was still the pale, thin vision of beauty that he had fallen so head over heels for years ago. Still, some small differences were visible. Her hair was cut short, she wore glasses, and a small tattoo of a curled-up snake was visible on her right shoulder blade, interrupted by the strap of her black tank top. She didn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t seem to have noticed him coming in and sitting down. She was staring intently at the stack of papers in her lap. He could see the stack of papers in her lap. The headlines showed the logo of the university of Amsterdam and mentioned the name Popper. It sounded familiar but he couldn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t bring himself further than that. The train quietly rolled across the country. He stole as many glances at her as he dared, but she didn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t respond. As the view outside changed from fields to city to forest to city again to wetlands to office buildings, all she did was read. Finally the train reached its destination, Schiphol airport. The sky was just beyond the horizon as the train raced into the tunnel, the brief moment of twilight where the sun is already beyond the horizon but still close enough to ward off the darkness for a few more minutes. Twilight gave way to the darkness of the tunnel, which lasted about ten seconds before it gave away to the bright underground platforms of Schiphol train station. She got out before he did, immediately crossing the bright white tiles of the platform and heading for the escalator. He sighed in disappointment, waiting until she completely disappeared from view. He̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢d probably never see her again. He dragged his bag over to the black bench, collapsing wearily onto it. As he waited for his train to arrive he tried to recover from the experience of an hour of sitting next to her. Then he felt a hand on his shoulder. Immediately his eyes darted up, and his breath caught in his throat. She was smiling at him. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅHey̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ I saw you in the train, but I guess you didn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t see me̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâæÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

Star Trek 11
If they are going to do a Star Trek movie, they should continue where the Enterprise series left off, the birth of the Federation. I was seriously pissed about how they pulled the plug on that just as things were getting interested.

Darkness
It's an instinct that probably developed way before our ancestors crawled out of the sea. If you can't see, you can't see potential threats, you can't defend yourself agaisnt potential threads. There's a reason most animals crawl away at night, except of course for those that have found other ways to 'see'.

Liquid Fire?
I doubt that there's anything such as liquid fire available to the general public, simply because it would be extremely difficult to put it in a safe container. There was probably just a small flame that he squirted lighter fluid on.
