I know the post you are talking about. I personally disagreed with the first lock. We have done some good rants about other aspects of pking before, and tagging is one I don't remember discussing too deeply. I thought after it was unlocked, people would see that the mods thought it was a good enough rant, and the mindless flaming would come to an end. Sadly, it just got worse until it had to be relocked.

It has to be thanksgiving week, because they are also releasing a quest using the hunter skill. So, Hunting will have to be released before the quest, or on the same day. I doubt they will release them both on the same day, they will give people a chance to meet any hunting prerequisits first.

It's probably a combination of being repetative, that there are only a few places to train it, and the fact that there is very little to gain other than exp combined. The other skills mentioned that can't be bought can be a bit profitable, and a bit more convient. You're just passing through ardougne, and decide to grab a few cakes real quick. But agility courses are more out of the way.

First of all, I would say I have to disagree with Zyrm that too many threads are being locked. When rants are locked, I usually still read them to see what happened and why it was locked. I usually find something like: OP: I just got scammed by someone I thought was a friend. Reply: *quotes from rants guidelines that you are not to post about being hacked OP: Shut up, this is a place to vent frustration, that is what I'm doing. Mod: Locked Not any discussion at all, just an ember ready to fuel a flame war, which, as Ard said, is why it's on the "do not post" list in the first place. As for a misleeding forum discription, didn't it used to be something like: Vent your frustration AND discuss possible solutions That was a bit clearly about what was expected in the rants board. But I think this hits the nail on the head: A great example already listed was the honor code thread about the wilderness. It is now on the do not post list because the regulars to the Rants board have already heard it and have come to an agreement. I remember at the time there were a few other rants about the same thing, which were easily resolved by refering to that thread or pulling out some of its stronger points.

This sounds like it'll DEFFINIATLY be a new hunting area! :D I do. I stopped by the Tzarr area to check it out. Talked to one of the guardians about the Xils, and he said they hunt for their food. But I don't think it will be in the fenced off area. I saw kets and majs there, but no Xils. If it was a hunting area to be, I'd think it would be crawling with the hunters, not warriors and sages.

lol. I've heard people wanting a ranching update in farming, I guess it could work. Of course, to use your house, we'll need to beable to build more rooms. But ya, I could see using these for summoning spells. Also, the ship building would be a nice addition to construction. You would have to pay the real estate agent, or maybe one of the charter workers, fors a docking liscence, and you'd have to buy a shipyard, maybe near Ardoune. Then the higher you're construction level, the bigger the boat you can make, and the further from you're shipyard you can go. Of course, the ships would be big, and would take ALOT of planks, nails, cloth, some ropes, and would take a long time to build, so it might be a bit dificult to add.

If you claim you were hacked/scammed/died, and you weren't, that's lying. And if you use it to ask for items, it's for your own personal gain. Could begging be considered as scamming? Well, technically, yes. It's kinda like people who set in wagons with their arms tucked in their shirts saying they lost their limbs in a war. It's considered a scam IRL, so why not in the game?

I think they should give you an option to not appear in the highscores. Maybe just replace your name with "hidden" for a placeholder.

Hmmmm.... Close call between slayer and farming...... I think I'm gunna go with farming on this. Sure, slayer has some cool monster's and nice drops, but those calquat kegs seem great for parties. So ya, my vote is for farming.

But RuneScape doesn't have a sky. All those greenhouse gasses just flot off into space.

I have an idea. They could bring back the old pk system, where you could turn pking on and off, accept you don't drop anything whendoing PvP outside of the wilderness, kind of like dueling anywhere was. Then it would just be for fun, and could choose not to if you don't like it. Then again, I'm sure alot of people will start harrassing with "Trn on pk nub. u scrd cus i pwn u." -.-

Just curious, did you drop any random event items you got, or did you go ahead and keep those?
