does AoC have any Australasian based servers? when i upgrade my dinosaur of a PC i'm thinking of getting it, but i'm not exactly interested if i'm getting 400-700Ms like in WoW.

hydropathy, think about it, the ability to manipulate water, in all of its shapes and forms, so steam, ice, water, and the ability to change its tempature. i actually got the idea from the ice blitz spell in RS, perforating someone you don't like with thousands of tiny icicles. :D

hm, well my girlfriend dumped me a while ago, neither of us is to sore about it, we weren't that serious or anything. the problem is, we still talk, mostly on MSN, i'm getting a lot of mixed messages, like "xoxo" just as she logs off, but other times its just "get [bleep]ed ed". what the hell? :| advice?

they shouldn't have made a sequel, it was better as a stand alone, honestly. 2nd one was very unorginal, but now they just aren't trying, i can already tell it fall flat on its arse when it comes to making money.

metalcore. the stuff makes me want to scream "TUNE YOUR [bleep]ING GUITAR YOU EMO [puncture]!" whenever i hear it. the riffs are primitive, the bass is almost always terrible, and half the time the entire song will finish without a single propper riffing session. not to mention the terrible lyrics, try hard delivery, god-awful fashion... the worst of it is, most uneducated people seem to define metalcore as standard heavy metal, which it isn't, so i go to great lengths every time someone says otherwise to show them that it isn't even definable as a type of metal. the only saving grace is that some of the bands have decent drummers... but then again some of them like to pretend to be thrash metal, perpetuating the above problem.

i prefer books to movies, usually. they take longer to finish, have more detail, and you can fill in some blanks on your own, movies don't let you do that.

its a load of crap, ignoring someone just lets them think you're scared of them. the best way to deal with school bullies is to beat the snot out of one of them so badly that they think you're some kind of psycho. people don't like that idea, but its the only reliable way to deal with power trip egotists. :roll: the thing is, if someone was highly intelligent, ignoring them would work, but most bullies aren't intelligent, so it doesn't, the only way you're going to get through to them is to speak their language. also, people who says they are trying to cover up their own insecurities are wrong to, its just that people want to feel better than others, and if you don't seem to look up to them, they want to make you fear them. its all about primal instincts really, they're alpha male, so all other males have to be subdued, how many times outside of primary school do you see a group of boys picking on a girl? very rarely, because females aren't a threat to their alpha male status, but if you overpower the alpha male, then you become alpha male, and they sulk away, or try to get back their position, (ie they'll come back for more, with a few friends, if you take my advice, take that as a warning.)

in a single word... yes, WoW is better than runescape. that being said, NEVER play WoW, i played it once at a friends house, and couldn't stop. :wall: i'm thinking of taking up smoking, or crack, to try and transfer my addiction. :roll: EDIT: except for the forums.... if its any kind of hint, the picture icon above the forums index is a troll... figure that one out. :roll:

a little off topic, but i can see that remote view ability as very useful, in you're with a team in BH, its just a harder to spot scout. but the RS newspost about summoning paying for itself was just someone at jagex blowing their own horn. the only way is if you're constantly killing hard monsters with rare drops like steel dragons, or monsters that commonly drop rune items like nechraels do over hundreds of hours. it will pay for itself in supplies, eventually, but unlike the content test teams that they based that on, we can't manipulate drop ratios. its to be expected, the people at jagex HQ have never been good at admitting mistakes. :roll: anyways, summoning has given me an advantage, i'll be lower level than most other people with my abilities when they release 1V1 BH. :wink:

blue dragons are fairly good for crimson charms, i killed 13 and got 4 crimson, and 1 blue charm. although, i can't say if its constant, i haven't played more than a few hours since wilderness was removed. :-k

i give rs a C for 2007, PKing was what made most skills profitable, or at least, more profitable, not to mention being the most fun thing to do (for me) in the game. even with the announced single combat BH, its still going to be assigning me level people level 120+ every second time, and you can't teleport, so using top-notch equipment when you're solo'ing is all but completely out of the question. the GWD items looked great, but they weren't really anything revolutionary, except for maybe the saradomin sword and godsword, for better strength training and an alternative to guthan respectivley. market control is horrible, full stop. the recent party room change, which i feel deserves a special mention, was completely nonsensical, has anyone ever try to transfer gold gold using the party room? no. simply because it drops, what, 200 balloons, and the gold is in 1 of them, so the overwhelming majority of the time the gold will simply disappear. thats just something i've wanted to get off my chest for a while. and as for the rest, i can't even remember what was added, so that just goes to show that none of it was really that interesting.

i've been playing since '03 and i've gotten 4 d meds from barrows, and 1 skirt from steel drags, which i sold at a 400k loss, because of all the pots i'd used. i think i've gotten 4 rune chain drops from black demons, and 1 rune scimmy from fire giants, and i've never gotten a rare/semi rare drop from a slayer monster. i did get ranger boots from a clue once, when i was level 77, but back then it was hard to get 750k for them. other than that, the most valuable thing i've gotten from a clue would be a sara kite, sold it for 500k, and i went from 80 to 100 combat training on jellies, doing every clue drop i got, so theres no telling how many clues i've done. oh yeah i sold my yellow p hat for 26m. :roll: clap clap for the handicap. #-o wish i'd kept it.

runescape shouldn't be doing anything, my internet (supposedly 512K, although it tuns at about 53k at the best of times) can load youtube videos without any change when im playing RS. most likely you need to clear to caches, run a scan, and if its slowing down the entire network maybe de-frag your computer, although im not sure if that will do anything.

i like fighting them, its much more fun than normal NPC's, to bad they don't drop anything.

i recently got an IPod classic, and for the life of me, i can't find a file converter so i can put my movies on it. -.- so, if anyone knows where i can get something to convert my movies i'd greatly appreciate it. my video's are in the following formats. MVK (matroska or something like that) VLC RMVB or RMVD (i can't remember at the moment :oops: ) WMA and a whole bunch of them just have "video clip" i've tryed about 5 file converters, they all work, but they only convert a small part, then you've gotta pay.

well, my clan has shut down for lack of members (thats about 300 people gone,) and the last 7 people on my friends list who still play have quit because of dueling, PKing, or trading restrictions.
