Why the hell would you eat a raw steak? What about the microbes and the sickening, iron taste of blood and the slimy meat?
  2. xD To be honest, I think this guy's just trying to get attention for the most part, but it doesn't mean Jagex isn't a corrupt company. I personally have never liked Jagex during my entire time that I played the game.
  3. Schedule's not that bad, but Wednesdays will be kind of rough. I'll be at school for over 8 hours. :\ Nap day. Also keep in mind that I had 5-day weekends last semester. Just went to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-3 with a single lab during Wednesday morning. That was pretty nice.
  4. Ouch. That... just.... ouch. Any of them advanced classes? I'm a little worse, I think. 17 credit hours of classes: Monday (8-noon): College Algebra, Ecology, Anthropology, Cognitive Psych Tuesday (9-noon): Botany + Botany lab (total 3 hour class) Wednesday (8-noon...then 2-4): College Algebra, Ecology, Anthropology, Cognitive Psych....Ecology lab Thursday (9-noon): Botany again + lab Friday (8-noon): Same as monday Already assigned to read first 3 chapters of Botany textbook. Have to go for course introduction for my other classes tomorrow. I had to quit playing video games. Every day I go to class, I have built in study periods before and after classes ranging between 30 minutes and 2 hours.
  5. RuneScape: The game where honesty is never rewarded. Seriously, it's much easier to be dishonest and abuse the hell out of bugs since you get a benefit from them than it is to report bugs/not abuse them. I don't blame people for wanting to abuse bugs in this game, though I personally don't do it myself. The day that Jagex makes leveling less repetitive and magnitudes easier/faster/more entertaining to train is the day that the number of bots will decrease. The game encourages botting due to long hours of repetitive clicking in order to train a skill, and the focus is too heavy on skilling. Once you shift this focus away from the leveling aspect and make it piss easy to level a character without it feeling long and repetitive, you will make a significant step towards bot prevention. Also, Jagex should focus on preventing the act of botting rather than punishing botters. It's a never-ending cycle, and when you ban a botter, more replace him. If you see botting as more of a symptom of a flaw in your game, you can find ways to prevent it, thus making steps to solving the problem at its foundation rather than hacking off the limbs. I've played a game where there was a serious botting problem with people making extremely high-leveled characters through botting. Once the devs changed the XP system dramatically and made it possible to gather items and get offline XP off of them (of course with a cooldown, which varied by the type of item), botting for XP pretty much ceased. The game became a little more relaxed, and in general, people had more fun. The game's focus was more on PvP than grind, and it was more enjoyable, at least. The only real threat to Runescape are gold farmers. [bleep] those guys. EDIT: And for the record, I have never botted nor intend to bot on RuneScape. I used to be one of those skiller types long ago, then realized that gaining stats for the sake of gaining stats didn't make me any happier and just encouraged me to stop playing the game as it sapped fun for me. I speak from experience and try to offer an insight into the viewpoint of those who may be susceptible to botting and why they would do it. I think people blindly hate botters and fail to see the game through their eyes, which is the wrong thing to do and promotes misunderstanding.
  6. I don't get why the construction outfit looks the way it does? Why does looking like you are wearing desert garb have anything to do with construction.

  8. Okay actually I can comment on this. Just a bit. I only have one word to say. Yay. [hide](Please note that the video title is because it's a YTPMV version of the popular chiptune 'Avast Your Ass' by Kitsune^2. Don't ask me why it's named that, I don't know. With this in mind...) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbIGnY_DSIE[/hide] All I have to say is that, if My Little Ponies can convince several hundred thousand residents of 4chan to even try to put aside their hate and differences for once, then I doubt it will have a negative effect on any yound children. No one learns from TV in the first place, that's their parent's job. I actually knew a guy who started watching it. He stopped being creepy, angry, and secluded and started hanging out with a few positive influences. Oh, oh god. It burns my mind. WHY, WHY ARE THERE RAINBOWS, SO MANY RAINBOOOOOOWS WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY... Though it is good art, I suppose. P.S. S'alright Wyvren. Who drew this? That's pretty nice.
  9. Question is: Does he love you back?
  10. Favourites (in no particular order): 1) Nero - cool bro 2) archimage_a - Really nice guy. Talk to him quite a bit over MSN. 3) bubsa - pretty funny guy I have some more but cannot remember their names. Sorry. EDIT: How the hell was this at the top of the page before I replied to it if it's from 2009 and I'm the latest post?
  11. If you're heterosexual, try dating the same sex for one day. Anyway, pretty cool idea, though I doubt I'll be attending a church service.
  12. Dunno, man. If there were a lot of crazy [bleep]s in Israel who wanted to kill me because I wasn't Jewish, I'd bomb the [bleep] out of them too.
  13. I don't get why they're scared of people spending lots of time in the citadels. After all, lots of people spent a lot of time in Daemonheim and it's not like the rest of the world is deserted. In fact, if people aren't staying in the citadels at higher tiers if/when they're available to them, the update has failed in its purpose. It's supposed to be a base of operations, let people treat it that way. I don't mind if they do or don't make some kind of clan bank feature, but at the very least, there should be a regular bank. Totally agree with you.
  14. And it not being popular is what makes it suck and it won't be used in a few months.
  15. I've discovered that about a lot of things in life. Why I don't lkike clans. I don't like feeling obligated to other people for things. Or obligated in a VIDEO GAME. Sure there is grind in runescape, but at least most of the time you are not forced to do it. I think most of us have enough things to worry about in life. I don't like being forced (well it's required in the clan camp/some clans will kick you out if you don't do this) to grind. Also it's not that i expect this content to be for everyone, or that we are entitled to everything. But i think this is just bad game design. I think it's reasonable to ask that each member contributes somehow. With content like this where you HAVE to grind resources in order to do simple upkeep, it isn't fair to only have a few people doing the grinding. It's hard on them, and it will burn them out quickly. It is bad game design, yes. I've played a game with similar content where you could build a town, but over time, your stone walls would decay, as well as your buildings and other items. The devs of this game realized how [cabbage]ty this system was and removed the decay. Then again, the devs played their own game, so... I'm not sure if I can say the same for Jagex. If you're going to have some mandatory upkeep, please at least make the content completely AFKable and make it take up very little of your time...
  16. DGS Nub. The "unofficial" HYT Clan is simply "HYT", there's a bunch of highers who can invite you into the clan and I think the only quota we were thinking off is 100 resource ea min' per week, which is practically a whole 10mins. Dount quote me on that though, that's just an idea we were looking at. That sounds reasonable really. I'll probably log on RS later today to join. Got some real life [cabbage] to take care of, though.
  17. HYT. I'm not in a clan so it doesn't appeal me too much. Oh, nice. I was just about to ask about something like that. One question: Does HYT clan have any policies against inactive players? I'm not a very active player anymore, but I sometimes log in on a blue moon in order to chat. I'm looking for a large-ish clan where everybody's welcome and you can just chat if you want.
  18. Hi, just saw this on the clan citadel 'fly through': Can anyone please tell me what the tiara thing is? Thanks.
  19. Invite a few random people to your clan, form citadel, exile them?

  21. Because he was about to shoot the [cabbage] out of 90 people?
  22. A guy in my clan was chatting with us on Skype when this happened. Pretty [bleep]ed up [cabbage].
