Things that used to scare you as a kid (Pics!)
Damn she looks scary, but I think that deep down inside, she's a very insecure and warm young woman.

Shrunken heads. They still scare the living [bleep] out of me.

RSOF Forum Thread: Summoning Response
The new summoning interface sucks. It's way harder to spam call familiars so they never wander too far away.

How nerdy is Runescape
TBH, Runescape isn't as nerdy as WoW or Everquest. Those games are way into fantasy. Runescape's just a random-[wagon] game with a twist of fantasy. It's nerdy as hell, but who gives a [cabbage]? If you like it, just do it.

Is it me or is Jagex fine with a messed economy...
OR They could go after merchant clan leaders and ban every single one of them under "item scamming" and then delete every single recruitment thread on the RSOF. They don't have to mess up the mechanics of the GE to screw them over, they can accomplish this through fear. Sure, they'll still exist, but less players will flock to them if they think that they could be banned for it. Less mindless idiots flocking to these type of clans would mean that the market isn't as hard-hit as it is now by these blood-suckers. They could also ban all of the autotypers in world 2 and manipulate the prices so that it ends up in another limpwurt root situation. The clan merchants are screwed, they lose money. Banning Chessy018 and 2lum would be a good start. If they're going to merch in large groups, they will have to do it underground.

American Propaganda Commerical Bashes Canadian Government
Twenty minutes is actually a pretty decent time compared to what we might have to wait for in my country. A wait in the ER might take hours, depending on how many people are waiting to be treated. Once, I had a ruptured appendix and was rushed to the hospital. They kept me waiting for about 20-30 minutes before actually taking me back to a room for a doctor to take care of me, which took an hour wait for the doctor to even show up. By the time he showed up and all the scans were complete to determine that it was appendicitis, it took hours for them to even get me to the pre-surgery waiting area. Even though the surgeon was a good one, I still had to wait a considerably long time and still ended up with an expensive bill (even with insurance). I've also known a person who couldn't afford insurance. She was bitten by a poisonous spider and decided against getting treatment because she knew that she could never afford the bill and figured that it would be too much stress on her family if they tried to pay it off. She died from the venom. Another problem that I have with the current system is that insurance companies have a tendency to drop a person's insurance if they end up getting an injury that the insurance company doesn't want to pay for. These commercials are sponsored by rich snobs that make a killing off of the insurance business, so they try to brainwash ignorant American citizens into protesting any initiative to reform the current system.

American Propaganda Commerical Bashes Canadian Government
[yt]KWKqIxkup3U[/yt] Apparently, an ad for PatientsUnitedNow.com features a "Canadian" woman who escaped Canada's "horrible" health care by traveling to the United States to get her brain tumor operated on. I find these type of ads very offensive because they brainwash the American populace into thinking that the US is superior over every other nation on Earth. This is probably one of the most blatantly offensive political commercials that I've seen aired on public TV. What are your thoughts on commercials such as these?

17th July 2009 - Bounty Worlds (+1 Item)
Weren't they DDoS'd?

15th July 2009 - PvP Changes
Now AGS and claws are back to normal, and are being merched. One person is buying an AGS for 125M on the RSOF, and claws are going for 45M each in world 2. People are [bleep]ing stupid, that's all I have to say. I hope it crashes again and stays crashed so they all whine and quit.

[DevBlog] Animation Update: Pack 1
Now it looks like a light bulb. It can't be a clan chat icon because the current clan chat icon is already in that screenshot.

[DevBlog] Animation Update: Pack 1
It looks like some kind of dialogue bubble.

Worst way to die
That was something I could have lived forever without hearing :ohnoes: I would say... Death by hundreds of bees. Look up stuff by Aleister Crowley. That SOB was crazy like that as well. He was pretty twisted.

how does new update stop 26kers?
It helps them. Less people are willing to risk items on PvP, so less people are there to hunt the wildlife population (trickers).

The Updates That Forever Changed RuneScape
-RS2 -Construction -Summoning -Removal of Wilderness, Trade Limits, Death of Staking, Grand Exchange -Addition and removal of BH in the WIlderness Volcano -New BH/PvP Worlds -Rise of 26k/76k tricking in PvP/BH worlds, addition of ancient artefacts -Alteration of PvP/BH worlds. Automatic skulling and banning of the protect item prayer. Resulted in a drastic and chaotic crash of expensive items. -While Guthix Sleeps quest -God Wars Dungeon -Stealing Creation - allowed players to be able to buy morphic tools from the minigame rewards show, which drastically cut down on the cost of several 99s, including construction, smithing, and crafting. -Ancient Magicks/Desert Treasure quest - made magic more dangerous I'm sorry, but I don't know any of the dates. I hope some of the listed things help though.

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
Looks like Divine and Elly are both going down. I remember some threads on RSOF marketplace where people were desperate to sell. I've also heard that they sell min now.

15th July 2009 - PvP Changes
Is barrows going to crash too much? I hope not because that's one of the ways that I make cash.

Will nerfing 26king really stop the inflation?
They didn't nerf 26k. Now it's just 76k. The only thing they got rid of were 1-itemers.

Scariest moments in your life
The scariest moment of my life was when my appendix ruptured. I wasn't sure what going on when, suddenly, I started to double over because of intense pain. My family got me into the car and we rushed to the nearest hospital. On the way over there, the pain stopped for a moment, which was a very eerie sensation. When I was finally taken to the prepping area for my surgery, my temperature suddenly [bleep]ed to 103 and started to rise. I was out of school for a month after I got out of a week stay in the hospital, though. That latter part wasn't so bad.

Worst way to die
-Having your throat slit open and choking on your own blood. -Death by aneurism. The thought of a blood vein bursting inside your cranium scares the hell out of me. -Drowning in deep water. Your body just flails around while you are suffocated by the water pouring into your lungs, plus the fact that you are being crushed to death by the pressure as you are slowly sinking to the bottom of the aquatic abyss. -Impalement. If you weren't killed instantly, you'd have to go through a brutal death.

Riots and bombs in Northern Ireland
I'm fairly sure that some people in North Ireland love Great Britain and wish to stay with it. On the other hand, I also think that many of them are Irish nationalists and want independence. Britain's really not a bad country at all, you know.

Main reason why teenagers shouldn't get tattoos
Get this one. It's the only one that looks great out of all 3 pictures. It's more generic and low-key.

Ukraine bans Pornography
What if someone got a piece of paper and scribbled a naked woman on it? Would they be sent to prison, even if they drew a stick-figure woman with circles for boobs?

What do you do? Borrowers who can't wield.
It's their own fault for not checking if they could wield that item or not. I was once called a scammer for lending out dragon claws 12 hours 400k. I've also had people refuse a loan because they didn't like the junk (mind runes) I was offering... They're agreeing to borrow my item for x hours. They should be willing to pay the fee, regardless of the type of junk items that I'm offering. It wouldn't be paying to borrow an item if they could just dump it in the GE and sell it quickly... I always lend items to my friends for free, though.

Riots and bombs in Northern Ireland
This doesn't surprise me. It's fine to have a desire for independence, but to use terrorist tactics as a means to "achieve" the end lowers you below the status of a dog.
