In my first post I only mentioned 96 mage as a way to access trollheim. The dstone brace replaces games room tele option the lunar magic spell replaces tele option to barbarian outpost.

With the new jewellery update and lunar spells update, we definitely are seeing more people staying on lunar spellbooks. Since the games necklace only offers two teleport options which is to games room and barbarian outpost. The teleport destination is easily replaced by bracelet of combat (dstone bracelet) which teleports you to warriors guild, relatively near to games room, also charges are rechargable on dstone bracelet but limited on games necklace. There is a teleport spell on lunar spellbook that takes you to barbarian outpost which also replaces the teleport option for games necklace. With the additional spellbook change spell at lvl 96, we can change to normal spellbook to access trollheim if need be. Though not many actually goes to barbarian outpost often which is only available on lunar spellbook, less likely to affect players who don't keep lunar spellbook on at all times. With all these features will games necklace even be needed? Maybe they can earn you some better money being sold as recoils?

Looks like you are a Singaporean. I too am one. Most Singaporeans play at lorderon gateway anyway therefore you might have better chances finding a game there.

Mains, enjoy having a total lvl which all other classes find it hard to achieve. Also, mains are the account types that will be able to access every game feature.

Still hobgoblin mines for p2p. Waka canoe to lv 35 wild with pick and charged glory. Run SW there and start mining addy. When full inventory run to lv 30 wild and glory out to edgeville. Afterwards bank and use the canoe there to lv 35 wild again. Repeat. You don't actually lose anything valuable but ores if you die anyway.

You have to get it the same way as you did for edger's ruse quest. There's a aow guide on how to get it effectively

We don't actually have abundance of prayers available so I doubt it would actually even came close to have a second prayer set. The highest lvl prayer "smite" was only a low 52 but for magic it was 90, therefore more higher lvl prayers can be added in before a new prayer set could even by considered.

The problem starts when after the person stats-look another player and decided to comment/flame/compliment his or her stats. Mainly the people who go look up highscores and starts disclosing that particular person's stats is exactly the same as this, only that most of the highscore users don't go around disclosing your stats. I don't care really. Sometimes maybe I can't hide my 99 stats by not wearing the 99 cape. I can imagine: *person stat scans me* Person: OMG OMG you have 99 mining! Other people: Wow he has? *some stat scans me as well*, omg so true Rest of the people goes like "take out your skill cape and show us emote!" and I continued to get followed by emote beggars :wall:

No offense to Mod Ash, as he's quite a cool guy, but that comment would hold more weight if they decided to make these reqs something hard besides combat. I'm not being unreasonable when I say that of all the things I consider high leveled, 85 combat does not really rank up there. Give me one with 85 defense, 80 herblore, 90 mining, or anything else that would actually provide a little more effort to get. I hardly call 85 combat a dedicated player as someone else said. I like that Jagex is raising the bar from these updates for lvl 40s but it's always combat based when anything gets done. If it weren't for the fact that quest reqs are so inherently non-combat weak I wouldn't care nearly as much. Lastly I want to say that I'm merely annoyed with the update. I'd still rather have "higher level" updates like these than all the endless mediocre ones with pointless new items. Jagex is going in the right direction, they just need to step up and make some decent non-combat reqs in the future. Couldn't have said it any better. I would be excited to see the amount of rants in the board should Jagex put in a quest with more than one 80 non combat skill (not fm, fletching, cooking or thieving) requirement. :-w

It won't work because during the casting time where you were switching spellbooks, if you use tb first the rcer would have ran to the mage; if you use barrage first, the rcer would have tele. Won't work sorry.

Don't think such a idea would work though. There seriously are people that use deposit boxes. A better idea would probably be like in a f2p bank, there is a border line that seperates amount of f2p and p2p bank space. You can only put members object below the line to make it fair so f2p don't get extra bankspace

Hmm maybe you can try alching in fight caves? Simply get the monster stuck south of Italy rock for first wave then just alch. Otherwise just alch in barrows tombs but some people may accuse you of being a looter if you hang out in dharock's tomb.

this is not the fact at the metal dragons, they dont have the same hides as normal dragons and therefore not the same magic defense. Look at urself, when ur fighting a mage in full rune u will get hit hard. Its the same with these dragons, they are covered with metal scales so magic will hit hard, but there are those lame dogs around so u will get distracted. There are only dogs around with bronze dragons, the big room with iron and steel dragons is totally not occupied by wild dogs. Anyway if you want to mage why not just go to barrows? You make even more money there compared to relying on rare drops for your money.

I will still say around 13. Majority of the adult players are in p2p and there are kids in both p2p and f2p servers obviously more dominant in f2p. Maybe even the large kid population brings down alot of the other ages, even teens?

Pure training can still go on even with the update. Whoever said that once a update is out, they have to drop all current things they are doing to check it out? They can just totally disregard the update. The tasks don't give skill exp anyway, either you get xp lamps for completing all tasks of a difficulty or you gain exp in the process of the tasks, which is slower than your usual powertraining.

70 agility is not a must since Taverly dungeon is not the only place to kill blue dragons :? Anyway if you bank hides and bones, I highly suggest you use cbow for it's accuracy. Knives/darts style of ranged weapons are not suggested since dragons have high defence. If you don't have cbow, at least use a MSB all the time.

The reason why I hate random team so much is that it does not actually take much skill to play at all. More of a whose-teamwork-is-better type of game. Though the course of the game, the losing team would usually blame each other for "not blah blah" etc and usually results in a conflict which results in refusal to cooperate and even team killing. I don't play solo games because I simply lack the skill to play it. :oops: I respect those who are good at it though.
