  1. Secondhand Seranade - Your Call Gah, I love this band
  2. I'm pretty much the same. I'm good at almost anything I do, but I'm never the best nor do I strive to be the best.
  3. I support stem cell research. I have nothing against "killing" a fetus for the sake of making others' lives better. At the same time, I have nothing against abortion (especially for teens). I have to agree with Lenticular though, abortion in the 6th month is pushing it and later I kind of consider to be wrong.
  4. You're damn right. I'm actually feeling a lot better at this point. I still talk to her a lot considering she spends her free period and break (at work) texting me. She also wants me to get a job with her and asked me to go visit her at work the other night (she was bored) which I would have done but I was busy. This crazy voice in my head tells me to just suck it up and hope someday she'll figure out what she wants because I may be what she wants in the future..
  5. In The Ayer - Flo Rida
  6. Yes, I would. I tend to be a non-violent person these days but, dammit, if that's what it takes then that's what I'll do.
  7. Thanks guys. I've cheered up a bit. I mean, I still feel terrible but I'm getting through the days without too much trouble. I still talk to her a lot and it feels like we're actors standing center stage. Both of us pretending everything is fine while I'm miserable and I can tell she's not totally happy (I've known her long enough to see right through her disguise). She means a lot to me and I was hoping more would come of us getting back together. At the same time I learned a lesson in this, and that lesson is never to break someone's heart and expect to be forgiven. @Zierro: Eh, I would like to move on to another relationship as soon as I find out there's no chance of us getting together again, but I don't like dating based just on looks. Sure, looks are awesome, but personality plays a big role in the girls I like. Unfortunately, my school is full of hot girls with terrible personalities. My life before this girl.. Was miserable and boring. I basically spent my days getting high until I got busted. Then I spent my days sitting around doing nothing. This girl made me get out of the house and have fun, even when we were doing nothing. She let me show my true self and helped me enjoy every minute of the day. And she made me feel things I didn't feel in my other relationships (which were mainly based on sex). She was special to me, and she still is. She wanted me to go talk to her at work tonight (slow night = nothing to do) but I don't think I could have handled it yet. I might try that writing down 10 things. I've been through depression before though I've never been medically treated for it. Last time it hit me hard, I just rode it out for a few months until things seemed to brighten up a bit. Through this, I've also broken a big promise I made to myself. I told myself I was going to smoke no more than 2 cigarettes a day, and I wouldn't smoke at all if I didn't feel I needed it. Well, the pack I got 3 days ago is just about gone. I'm getting back on it though, only had 1 today and I'll only have 1 more tonight.
  8. Meh, I'd aim for the solarplex or the face depending on how bad she's asking for it. Seriously, I have no problems hittings a girl if they're asking for it. If a girl wants to beat on me, she's going to get it right back and chances are I know more about inflicting pain than she does. I do know a girl that could kick my [wagon] pretty easily, but we only fight in the ring ;) I'd also like to mention this to all the girls out there: If you start a fight with a guy, don't expect a shot to the genitals to finish it up and make you the winner. I've taken some serious shots to that region and I know after I get hit I have about 15 seconds before I actually feel the pain. And I'm not going to lose to a girl taking cheap shots, and neither are most guys who can take a hit.
  9. Interesting.. I spend a lot of time on my computer or around a tv screen before bed, I generally drink soda all day and up to the point when I go to bed, and I like a nice cigarette before I call it a night. And I rarely have trouble falling asleep :-k But on those rare occasions I do have trouble getting to sleep, sleeping pills are a good idea. As long as you don't let your body become dependent on them, then they're ok.
  10. No wai! $1,400 You say? I am so getting a job there! $1400 for a summer isn't that great. I'm going to be making about that for 9 Saturdays of work.
  11. And I doubt the gov't would allow it either. Tobacco is a big industry and the gov't is making some good tax money from it. If kids were to get vaccinated then they wouldn't start smoking (unless they're one of those immature kids who does it to look cool) and that would mean a lot less money going to the gov't. The only way the gov't would allow vaccinations against nicotine would be with the legalization of soft drugs (resulting in $26,000,000,000+ not going towards keeping offenders of soft drugs in prison and $1,000,000,000+ -or far higher- from taxes on those soft drugs). And since that's not likely to happen any time soon, neither is the gov't allowing vaccinations against nicotine.
  12. Full time student. Soon I'll be working security/parking at the University of Iowa home games (24 hour shifts = good money) and I need to get another job on top of that..
  13. I was under the imresion that that aws all just more govt propoganda :-k Meh i was considerin going shroom huntin cuz there's plenty of cow [cabbage] in my area :P [bleep] yea for liviin in Iowa lol
  14. I thought we already did? I figured nobody ever changed the title so it was easier to draw in unsuspecting freshmen so we could beat them :o
  15. Senior this year.. Classes for 1st quarter are as follows: Sociology Computer Applications II -Break- Sales Sociology is the only class I can stand. I could teach computer apps 2 and sales is worthless (3 days and we haven't done anything but sit around and talk). Teachers are all phone nazis this year as well. Which means I get to spend most of my time day dreaming instead of chatting with people.
  16. Edit: [bleep] me and [bleep] life. My gf just became my ex, again. I haven't cried in forever, nor have I resorted to old self destructive methods of easing my pain in such a long time. Tonight the tears and blood flow freely  Antoher edit: Stil [bleep] me and [bleep] life. This is the worst night ever. I'm an idiot and I know it.
  17. Agreed. Using it to break addictions to drugs like cocaine, methaphetamine, etc could be a good thing. But when you start trying to use it on people who use the drugs responsibly, there will be trouble. Do you mean responsible coke and methaphetamine users? Cause that stuff isn't exactly safe. It's not that bad actually, I knew some people who did coke once in a while and they were very responsible. I think he was referring to marijuanna or other light-drugs that can give you a high. -Renate. [/hide] I was actually referring to all drugs (though lighter drugs are easier to use responsibly). None of them are good for you, some are more safe than others, but all of them used responsibly can be okay. Well, not all. I'm open to quite a lot of things as long as it can be used responsible but crystal meth just seems a bit... Over the top. And the fact that I'd rather stick to 'natural' things, weed, salvia, shrooms, etc. -Renate. Fixed it for you. : ~meol Some drugs may seem over the top to us, but if someone can handle taking that drug and continueing to live a normal life, that's awesome. And I prefer to stick with "natural" drugs as well though I would like to try LSD and ecstacy.

I wish on every shooting star I see :) Actually when I just sit outside at night, I tend to see upwards of 5 or more in a half hour.. I wish my wishes would come true :(

It takes a lot for me to cry. I usually bottle everything up and eventually it all comes out at once. At this point, I've been bottling [cabbage] up all summer and it's about to explode. I'm supposed to go to a sparring class today (karate tournement in 1 week) but it might be a bad idea. I really don't want to lose my head and actually hurt someone (point sparring = decent contact, not hard).
  22. That was halarious! Does anybody still have that laying around?
  23. your clutch is going on a 7 year old car? do you drive an extremely massive amount or leave your foot on the clutch pedal? 7 years for a clutch isn't very good i wouldn't think. maybe it just needs adjusting (if it can be). anyway good to see some people still have balls and drive manuals not these boring things they call auto's How good he is at shifting could make a difference in how long his clutch will last. I know a guy who needed a new clutch, got it replaced, and needed a new one only a few years later. Also, I wish I knew how to drive manual :( My dad never bothered to teach me..
  24. Agreed. I also like any discussions of gov't propoganda and the likes.
  25. Thunder - Boys Like Girls I like the acoustic version of this song better, but it's on the radio so there's not much I can do about it..
