I'm hoping it's just bad photos; because that line art looks pretty bad in some places. At least i'ts not going to solid black - solid black tribals ftl; But it seems like it'll turn out fairly well - post another pic when it's finished :) I hope that's a bad pic too.. But either way it should look better now considering it should be healed. I hate to bump old threads but I felt it was worthless to start a new one.. I was in Hawaii last week and my mom decided she wanted a tattoo of a flower that said "Maui" under it on the back of her shoulder. So she was getting it and I was talking to one of the guys who warked at the tattoo place and I found out I only had to be 16 there to get one. Well I love tattoos so I begged my dad and he finally agreed but I had to pay for it. Cost $200 (would have been $300 but the artist was really nice) and took a little over an hour. I wanted something that would always remind me of the good times I've had in Hawaii so I went with a tiki. Unfortunately I have to be 18 here in Iowa so next year I'm going to get it finished (more flames above the tiki) and I plan on designing the next one I get. My next one is either going to be on my left arm (opposite of the one I got my tattoo on) or going down my chest/side.. I didn't reread this whole thread but I remember someone saying most people will chicken out because they hurt like hell.. Well I didn't chicken out and it felt amazing getting it. Yeah it feels like a pinch but once you get used to it the feeling is almost addicting.

Those turn heads but I'd take good ol' American muscle any day over imports. My dream car is a '75 Corvette Stingray. Though I've also got a thing for the late 60's Mustangs and the 70's Chargers

Me too. It takes me ages to text anyone. I spend like 5 minutes to text maybe 2 lines. 20 seconds later I get a 2 page long message.. :) You get better with practice.. I wrote up an 8 page message in 5 minutes the other day :P I have to share 1000 minutes a month with my parents so they got me unlimited texting so I wouldn't use all the minutes in a week.. I send at lesat 100 texts per day.. More if there's something big going on.. I make the most of my unlimited texting :P

I'm planning on an evening at home. My dad is looking at a Mitsubishi Eclispse for me and it's on the border so if we decide to get it I'm hoping we can go a little farther and pick up some of the good stuff since almost every firework is illegal here in Iowa. I had some decent fireworks that my dad picked up in Missouri a few months ago but I shot most of them off already

120km/h is about the average speed on interstates here. Yeah, talking on the phone and driving is a bad idea. I talk as little as possible when I'm driving and if I'm on a highway or whatever I usually won't answer my phone at all. Yup.. I'm spoiled. My parents bought me a nice Pontiac Firebird. I didn't pay a penny towards it. Though I do pay $2800 for insurance every year plus the amazing amount of gas my vehicle takes (even when I'm going easy on the gas pedal). Oh and I pay for 50% of any repairs that need to be done (so far only new tires and brakes). Some of those 4 cylinders actually have a decent amount of power behind them. Of course, there's more of them that can barely move than those that'll haul [wagon]..

My dad told me about this the other day. I was getting ready to go to Adventure Land (a smaller amusement park here in Iowa) with my gf and my dad kept telling me not to get on the ride that is like the one in the story. Of course I rode it with my gf and her family ~10 times because I don't see the point in being scared after one incident.. It's a shame what happened to the girl but that doesn't justify being scared of the ride in my mind.

Damn, I know how you feel. I've only been hanging out with my closest friends this summer and nobody else. Me and my gf are hanging out today and we figure we'll just watch movies until someone else calls or we get too bored.

I was looking at my eyes in the mirrior the other day (yes, I'm fascinated by eyes) and I noticed I have a black ring around the outter edge of my iris. I still enjoy looking at it lol.

Amen to that. I gotta say though, the crashes were more painful than on a skateboard :? Well duh! You have about 40 pounds of metal slamming on your legs while crashing in the ground. While with a 'board all you have to fall on is your [wagon]. :P Ever had the board come up between your legs while you're headed for the ground? :uhh: That's a pretty good definition of pain..

I have no time for skating.. And my gf probably doesn't want to see me in the hospital (yeah, I haven't skated in years so I suck).

I haven't played it in ages but my favorite was always my barbarian.

If I think about doing something around the house (ie: washing my car, changing the garbage, mowing the lawn) I have to do it or else it will bug me until I do it.

There's actually quite a few adults on these forums :roll: I hate it when kids get to that "why?" phase. It so annoying and there's no way I'm explaining to some kid why they should get out of the way of my car. Their parents should have taught them that 3000 lbs of metal and 200 horsepower is going to destroy 60 pounds of little kid. Some kid serious did this when we were leaving to go shopping once. I hate explaining things to people as it is, I don't want to explain something to a kid who isn't going to get it and ask me why something in the explaination happens. But I'll agree with the OP. Screaming kids are annoying as hell. I can't stand it when parents are shopping and just let their kids scream while they just ignore it and continue with their shopping. Screaming kids give me a headache, and I'll tell you to make your kid stfu if it gives me a headache.
