Who
I've been trying to get boots for 8 hours now... [cabbage] minigame sure is [cabbage] and the thing that doesn't let you get these [bleep] boots makes it even more [cabbage]... Yes there seems to be a BUG. Adamskii
I have stopped playing now until it gets fixed. 2 hats, 3 legs, 1 shirt and no boots in around 4-5 hours :(
whiteboy1102
if no one noticed it said the first time you lose it if you've had it before this update it'll be 50k and then afterwards it'll be 700k so if you did the quest before this you can pretty much get an 180k profit really quick. And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine Patris et Filii et Spiritus Sancti.
berbatovsky
@People whining about the anchor being nurfed, it was a massively overpowered weapon that cost next to nothing to replace. This has been fixed, shutup. I did the quests to be able to do the mini-game today, it's reasonably hard and reaonably enjoyable, unfortunately this is nowhere near enough to please most of the morons who play the game. Seriously if you don't like somethign shutup my eyes hurt from looking at all the [bleep]ing complaints you lot make.

You know what, you're ignorant and obviously never had the anchor. it was NOT OVERPOWERED. Yes, it cost next to nothing to replace, and that should have been fixed. But 700K is enourmous. The strength bonus does not make it come anwhere close to the power it once had. And I loved this weapon. LOVED. And they nerfed it. I was making a sig just about the freaking anchor. They ruined it. TeeBeaun
Whats the best method of getting to the bridge? Is it with a higher player and route 3? And when you get there what do you have to do to get a piece, is it a random chance?

The anchor still seems good to me and it has the added benefit that some people actually have to do something to gain it, unlike the whip were most paid stupid amount of money to get one and then think they have achieved something. I don't own a whip, i apreciate what your saying, I enjoy doing something challenging in game and being rewarded for it, but do you not think for someone to make 1.7 million is an achievement? My beef was that the anchor was a substantial weapon and was overpowered (in relation to its cost-i should have made that clear) and this has been fixed. edit: re-reading my post i see that i made a mistake by saying the anchor was massively overpowered and cheap to replace, i meant that it was overpwowered in relation to its cost to replace. @teebaum:I believe its random chance i've had the bridge scenario twice and once it was lvl 1 route with weak NPC, and the other time it was lvl 2 route with a weak NPC. I got lumberjack legs on the 2nd and nothing on the first.

TeeBeaun
If you sit there and wait for the undead lumberjacks to "rewpawn", can you still get pieces of clothing, or is it just one per "random event"
Artemis_42
If you sit there and wait for the undead lumberjacks to "rewpawn", can you still get pieces of clothing, or is it just one per "random event" It seems to be one per event. I've waited to kill all that spawn and I only ever get one peice. Also, if you log out and back it doesn't seem to reset this. Greedom1
anyone notice that activating prayer has become really sticky. i.e. When clicking on it, it takes a few more seconds to activate Just tested it - I'd say it takes about 1/2 second longer. Noticeable though. RSN: Greedom1 | QP 248+ | Combat 116 | Total 1920+ | Skills 95 craft, 99 farm, 88 herb, 91 mage, 85 slayer Values? What do they mean? Macmaster92
Wow i just tested that to. It is a very noticable diffrence. Enough to make things harder. I wonder if it was ment to be sticky like that.

Dead_Dude4
ill wait till they tell us how many exp you get more by using the new clothes... if its only +5% i wont get them... 5% xp boost would mean that you'd have to chop about 12,4m worth of xp to acheve 99 woodcutting... that's 650k xp worth of logs that you would never have to chop but would still get xp for. I'm pretty sure that getting the clothes takes alot less time than it takes you to chop 650k xp worth of logs so I would say that the clothes are well worth it even though the xp boost may seem low. It would be nice to find out what the actual bonus is (full set) for the real calculations :)
Adamskii
Yep, sorry about this, it was my fault. The boots should drop 50% of the time. Hopefully this should be fixed very soon, but wanted to apologise for the problem as it was my fault. So, sorry! :-/ That response was posted around half an hour ago on the official forums, so hopefully we will be able to get the boots soon :D
Cdub
I'm using the strongest person on the slowest route to get LumberJack. There are the most events in one shot, and I don't need to expend any food. This seems like the best way to go about getting LumberJack. Unless, do the level of course and your traveler affect your chances of getting LumberJack? What are other people using that's been working for them?
