I smelted 1k back in RSC and, funnily enough, ended up with 502 bars. It sure doesn't feel like it at the time, but it more or less balances out. P.S. Yes, that took a hell of a long time. I get a lot of bronze first, then smelt/smith it all.... then get a load of iron so that I can get steel then I am on that until the end unless I want to make specifically mith/addy/etc. You're being watched.
