March 22, 200719 yr If you use the 5-key thing to alch you'll notice it probably..or, like i said it might be just me. Is there a guide on this? I've been meaning to find out how to do it for quite some time now its kinda simple, in the control panbel, theres acceibility options. then go to mouse tab and turn on MouseKeys or you could use the shrotcut ALT + left SHIFT + NUM LOCK keys killing off the TET, one newb at a time :^_^:im cutting back on rs now due to rl issues (college), my sig stats havent been updated in a while...
March 22, 200719 yr That reminds me, is it illegal to make a robot (perhaps out of Lego) that would push the mouse button twice every 3 seconds? Seeing as I have a laptop it would be easy to make one that won't move the mouse... that has to be the most innovative idea ive heard on these forums in a long, long time I remember someone using one of those waterbird things to click every few seconds and auto-tele, but the timing is not right for alching.
March 22, 200719 yr ALCHING FOR THE LOSS TO THE MAX. I never noticed it, I'm always talking and crap while alching, it takes too long for me to alch, thus, I don't do it. Seeing as I have a laptop it would be easy to make one that won't move the mouse... How can that be illegal? Jagex does not specifically state that you cannot create a piece of hardware that will push your mouse-button. Jagex specifically state the use of macros is illegal, which is software but at no point did they state building your own hardware is illegal. March 22, 200719 yr I havent notcied this but it wont work against the majority of macroing bots as they search for the colour before clicking and searching for the colour of the note to alch.
March 22, 200719 yr I don't think this is true, I alched 682 yew longs in a row, altering back and forth with mouse-key and the mouse, I did not stop once, nor did my curso move without my physical movement, or any in-game things happen. So I think you just might have experienced a trick with the eyes or a little glitch in-game. =S Why is everyone all of the sudden going to how to macro or cheat w/o being caught or bending the rules-.-. Mod should lock if it goes further>,>.

Seeing as I have a laptop it would be easy to make one that won't move the mouse... I had that exact idea! To make a robot out of the Lego Mindstorms. Too bad its illegal, so I never made one. It would be just as easy to download a macro(not an rs related one), and create your own program...and be just as illegal!there is a HUGE difference between a macro and a lego clicker. One can be detected and the other can't  . Not that I would do it, I'm just stating a fact.

Never mind. i got it afew seconds later. NUM lock is the key. Yeah...Some people just go out of their way to ruin other peoples fun.Sounds like Jagex to me...
March 22, 200719 yr i don't thin they changed it but i wouldnt know since i haven't alched in like 6 monthes Don't Click This774th to 99 hunting on July 16th 2007
March 22, 200719 yr i gots me a special mouse for alchin =D> its one of those wireless powerpoint presenters. all i do is move the scoll bar over alch and i can lie on my bed and alch. i just have to look at the screen whenever a new sound comes out of speakers.. you know like the evil chickun or sandwich lady. \ \ I think thats illegal too, but it would be convient. I make the window as small as I can make it, turn the speakers up and if a funny sound comes up, I bring the wondow up again. Usually I look at wikipedia while I do it.
March 22, 200719 yr Actually the lego thing could be detected. The servers will see that it receives input EXACTLY every 3 seconds and you will be banned.
March 22, 200719 yr Actually the lego thing could be detected. The servers will see that it receives input EXACTLY every 3 seconds and you will be banned. So couldn't you develope a lego builder with a little further advanced thinking. Making it not in seconds but in 3.5 seconds then 3.4 seconds, then 3.8 seconds then 3.0 seconds, then repeat? a pattern?

I did think about macros that did a variated pattern once but i thnink they still fall to random events. March 22, 200719 yr Author The only thing with the lego thing is you still have to pay attention, you don't want to die from an evil chicken and loose all those nats and yew longs would you? And I'll try to re-explain the problem i am having. When I am alching WITHOUT mouse, only using the 5-key meaning no cursor movement whatsoever, ROUGHLY ever 30-80 alchs, ill click on the high level alchemy spell, it automatically goes to the inventory, i go to click they yew long, and...huh? why didnt that work...i press 2 4 6 or 8 to move cursor and then it magically just alchs it, without me rehitting the 5-key. okay, there we go lol.

Seeing as I have a laptop it would be easy to make one that won't move the mouse... I had that same idea too. I have the NXT and I actually made one that worked :-$ , but I haven't used it cuz I'm paranoid of getting banned for autoing. (Actually, it would be easy to make it seem human-like because the NXT software has great built in random routines. I should stop talking in case there is ever a mass banning of Lego-Scapers.) +-------------------------+| . . . . March 23, 200719 yr Although there isn't a statement saying that using lego would be illegal. It is kind of like an implied term of contract. No way could jagex allow everyone to build little lego robots that click for them. :shame: And if you do all you can, that's all you can ever do. - Warren Rudman But men are men; the best sometimes forget. - William Shakespeare
March 28, 200719 yr Yes, ive noticed but how do u use these "sticky keys" some guy said he was today... is it legal? can soembody tell me how? ~Death I messaged JaGeX--it's legal but they encourage using the mouse so you get a better experience/better sense of accomplishment doing it.

(Tried shift, ctrl, alt all while hitting the 5 key... didn't get the right click menu, but on the + I did.) First check if that key is stuck or something, otherwise I really don't know...
