Faux
I can't understand why people spend so much on a pair of shoes when within 6 months - 1 year your feet would of grown and they won't fit, and then Nike or who ever would of released a new pair of shoes which has diffrent ticks or colours and thats another ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã100 on a new pair of shoes, the cycle continues. Could someone explain please. Cause it's cool. edit: And maybe they're trying to compensate for something. I know a Chinese friend spends a bunch on Air Jordans just to fit in with his black friends. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::

T-Roach
well imo they're not the best 1s but they totally own the shoes u told u have. and yes, meaning they're expensive really tells a lot about u. u have good taste, ur not poor, and besides, some of the shoe wearers dont care what the brand or name is. if it looks good, and they feel good, and ur ready to pay good money for it, "just do it" ;> So many contradictions, do you even think before you type? So only designer shoes are good? They're DESIGNER shoes because it's only for name stamped there. A huge chunk of the premium you're paying for is for the name alone. And you do know my Merrell shoes are as expensive as the one you 'just bought' right? Just because it's Merrell, it's poor? Ok then. But don't worry, corporations love people that think like you. :) sorry, english isnt my first language, and im in a hurry. busy life unlike u ;) jesus, after typing in merrel on google and checking the images, im done debating with a typical nolife Doctor of Dental Surgery-2014Medical Doctor-2018?Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon-2024? Viktorkrum77
And what makes those shoes worth that much? 2 letters written on them? It's Gucci/D&G, meaning they we're made out of top quality material and hand-made, usually in Italy. And then of course, you are paying for the name, but it's Gucci/D&G, a great item to show off. Wearing expensive shoes might mean you aren't poor. However it can also mean you can save a ton of money and blow it all on shoes just so you appear rich. Or you can just be an idiot and think you're cool because you wear expensive shoes which apparently make you look rich. And you call Shadow a typical "nolife" and you say he doesn't have a busy life why? You make absolutely no sense. Did you give your account to your 13 year old brother or something along those lines? Why you see plasma TVs in their houses. Why chavs wear Burberry. Wearing expensive clothing doesn't say anything about your socio-economic status. Chavs have already proved that. ____
jesus, after typing in merrel on google and checking the images, im done debating with a typical nolifeSo you based that entire post off images? Right - so remind me why some of the crap that come from $200 sneakers are better than a $30 pair if you only seem to give a [cabbage] about what they look like? :uhh: Those Gucci shoes that viktor posted don't exactly good real grand either. Gucci or not - they look like [cabbage]. Most likely wont be appreatied by anyone who doesn't give a toss about the brand on your shoes though; but each to their own I guess :-? Don't get me wrong vik - Gucci is almost the essence of top quality - just for the sake of argument: unless they can understand that it doesn't come from a factory in asian (like most "designer-name" shoes) they aren't going to care much for it. Take Nike for instance - cost of production is almost identical to that of a $30 pair of shoes. After import taxes and such, and the Nike sales team decides on how much of a markup to give it because it's Nike shoes - that's your final rip-off price. And they know they'll get away with it. Flametrooper
One pair of rather old, beat up...*checks brand*...New Balance shoes. They were cheap, and they work. I don't give a brown smelly thing about brand names; One pair of hiking boots that probably don't even have a brand name, but they're great hiking boots; And a pair of "formal" black shoes. That's it. Anyone who owns more shoes than those, or a single pair over $150-200, deserves to have their shoes shoved up their ass. Jeez, there's better uses of your money, time, and closet space.
