Never before, though I thought of taking a break before, but that break was just a dream

working on it

No, I've never thought of quitting. From day 1 when I first started playing, I've been a true Runescapian, loyal to the cause. :)

I have only good grades, I have some friends, I do what I must and play RS when I want to (And not because I'm an addict).

Always gargle before a takeoff. Wakka Wakka!

i've never thought bout it really but after i completed my goal of 99 wcing i really had no other goals i was looking forward to that i love doing. I keep comming back because my 1 long term goal has always been want to own a red phat <3: so i don't think i would be quiting soon til i'll ever make enough PURE cash for one

Many times I've thought about, and actually quit the game; this is usually down to real life commitments such as coursework or exams. I suppose the thing that's always made me start playing again is when I realise I'm browsing the internet one weekend, and I'm usually quite bored and think to myself "Hmmm maybe I'll log onto RS, but just for a few minutes", and then memories of the 'golden days' come flooding back, along with the ambition to be as good as all my friends who have excelled themselves in my absence - and before you know it, I'm back to playing it every waking minute of the day! God I need help.

If you've called it "quitting" you haven't really quit. Not naturally at least. People really "quit" when they gradually wean away from the game until they've lost all interest. They haven't really quit when they, as an example, get hacked, and scream "WHAT A WASTE OF TIME I QUIT THIS FOREVER AND EVER BYE EVERYONE!" - In this case they're just in denial and angry but they'll be back because it was too sudden of a change. If you call it quitting, you haven't really quit. Unless you have really strong willpower, you end up coming back, until you gradually fade away from the game and never officially quit. Saying you "quit" is like saying you're putting an addiction on hold for as long as you can. "Quit" itself is a stupid term when applying it to runescape. Runescape isn't something you're "on" or "off" of. You quit a job. You quit smoking. You don't quit a video game.

well, as you can see in my sig, i found a new game to play, flyff, and i got hecka addicted to that, like when i first found runescape, but i played rs every now and then. then i looked at the hiscores and i got mad cuz i dropped maybe 50k ranks, and flyff was kinda getting boring too, so im back playing rs now

Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)

I thought about quitting, then I relised that I'd rather play this than watch tv on my free time. :XD:

Yes, I've thought about it many times. Things didn't really go smoothly at school, home and I got hacked, so I didn't really wanted to play again. But after a couple of weeks, I always seem to come back because I'm bored. :D
