Multi-Site Steel War 2 (May 19, 2pm EST)

Recommended Posts

Here the times for the event for the most common timezones for RS-players:

(Standard time)

The event will take place at 6pm GMT.

(USA)

2pm EDT (Eastern Daylight Time, = GMT-4)

1pm CDT (Central Daylight Time, = GMT-5)

12pm MDT (Mountain Daylight Time, = GMT-6)

11am PDT (Pacific Daylight Time, = GMT-7)

(Europe)

7pm (=GMT+1), United Kingdom, Portugal.

8pm (=GMT+2), Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Sweden

9pm (=GMT+3), Lithuania, Finland, Estonia.

(Asia and Australia)

Although a lot of RS-players play from these timezones, it is probably not worth to mention times up here.

For them the event will be in the middle of the night !!!

e.g. Malaysia, 2am (= GMT+8)

e.g. Queensland (Australia) 4am (= GMT+10)

For all other countries and timezones, check here:

http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/

After clicking your country/timezone, you get your time in "GMT plus time"or "GMT minus time".

e.g. The GMT-time for the event is 6pm, so an outcome of GMT+3, makes (6+3) = 9pm for your local time to start the event.

Just to make sure that everybody comes on time this year

  •
[*:3pxexnz7]P.S.: At this time of year EST- CET-, MST- and PST-time don't exist at all.

If you put them into a world-time-calculator and compare them to GMT, then you only get the wrong answers.

    EST should be EDT now.

    CST should be CDT now.

    MST should be MDT now.

    PST should be PDT now.

This is due to daylightsaving. This usually happens between april and october (the clock 1 hour forward), although some countries may differ.

    Just for your information \'

4am!?!?!?!?! Aw man!

Yeh, well you can't please everyone. And majority of players aren't from Australia so it wouldn't be smart to have a timeslot friendly for Aussies.

Looks like another awesome super event and--

GO TIPIT!!!

I have tried and tried to edit yours to fit nicely into mine....but it just wont work so i had to make a new section for time. It kinda streaches the topic larger than i wanted it to be, but it will help alot of people so the good outweights the bad. I have included your name to give you credit for this Alibabah, once again i cannot thank you enough for the ammount of time you put into that reply 8-)

How did a certain site cheat last time?

no site cheated last time, but certain individuals were caught useing rune weapons. Its an extreme exaduration if anyone says that a site cheated.

No site cheated per se, but a large amount of the red cape's armour was shiny and blue if you get what I mean.

Hell I came last time, and i'll come again.

Also, pm a mod and ask if this can be moved to General and Gen p2p to get some serious interest in it.

I have added a counter to the offical sig, however the unfortunate thing is that googlepages cannot accomidate this type of php command so it is now hosted with frihost...meaning that if you like to use the new one you'll have to manually change your signature :(
