I havenÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t used low detail for some months now. The only time I do use low detail is when IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m running a virus scan, or something that needs high processing power for example.

Low, for no particular reason.

High detail for walking around or lvling up skills, or low detail during quests or fighting kbd or KQ

When I play during breaks at work I use low detail so as not to make the computers choke, but when I play at home I like to use high detail.

low since my pc's memory started being constantly filled up with crap.

 

Leftovers of some virus taking up my memory I suppose, right now, all I'm doing is listening music through WMP (minimalized) and having 3 firefox browsers opened, and no msn or other big thing running on the background, yet my memory (512 or 1024 MB) is at 74% and my CPU is only at 10%

 

 

 

svchost[Caution] usually likes to take up a lot of memory/cpu but thats some windows function :/

 

Anyone has any idea on how to clean my pc and get it to work fast again ? I used to be able to do many more things perfectly smooth.

With i tunes up I can get 100% cpu usage, I have 7 schost's running, can you tell me how many you have as I think one or two are viruses. I used to be able to play counter strike for a while before the lag became unbearable then I removed cs. Then I put cs back on and it was laggy all the time. Though doesn't RAM (random access memory) become more useful the more you use programs which need it?

Low detail, easier to skill because of no roofs.

Generally high. Does anyone else notice that turning the music on adds more lag then high detail? Jagex needs to seriously re-work the way the music plays, its very undesireable at this point..

Low detail, used to lag on high a lot, and now i automatically click on low #-o

I got a very good computer, but I use low detail. The difference is very small, and if it can save me a couple of seconds, that's good.
