Never really liked or watched TMNT when I was young, it was a show I would change the channel when it starts. Although I might of watched it a bit when I was older.

 

 

 

I thought power rangers was great. It was such a great show that it got 'banned' from New Zealand TV.... They complain about kids not having enough excercise and when a show starts which makes kids want to run and jump around they ban it :roll:

 

 

 

I watched a bit of a Power ranger show a few years back (they must of forgotten the ban) and it was complete rubbish.

Power Rangers. I dressed up as the pink one for Halloween when I was little... or maybe it was the yellow one. :D I was never into the turtles. :P

 

Kimberly was by far the hottest power ranger. I think I dressed up in a blue costume one time for halloween too. I had a dream where I protected her from a hoard of putties if memory servers me right :oops: .

 

 

 

However, I think I'm going to have to take the Ninja Turtles over the Rangers. Not only was the action good, it was pretty funny. I watched the movies again with my friend about a year ago and we were still laughing.

 

 

 

I feel you though Mage. I had SO MANY figures of power ranger and TMNT, but my mom ended up giving them away when I "grew out" of them as if that's possible. I wish they made these two shows like they used to :cry: .

ANYTHING other than TMNT. Power Rangers are sick, though.

Dude, Rocky was not the red one. That was definitely Jason. Tommy was the white and/or the green ranger, but he was definitely the green one first. You must have started watching late.

Darn, that was a long time ago :P That sure brings back memories. I believe I liked The Power Rangers better, for no obvious reason. Sure every episode was the same, but I still liked it. Perhaps because all my friends were watching it.

I used to have every power ranger action figure but then I lose em. That was a sad time for me.

 

 

 

 

 

My favorite was always the red and pink power ranger.

I never watched TMNT, so Power Rangers, or Pisers as I used to call them, all the way.

 

 

 

Although, my basketball jerseys this season are electric green so we're the TMNT.

To the people on about the red ranger: Jason got killed off and replaced but then he came back as the gold ranger. :P

when i was little i liked both the TMNT and the Power Rangers, but power rangers were my favorite i think. I remember having all the action figures, the pillow cases, the blankets, you name it. I was the red ranger 2 years in a row for halloween....

Not exactly banned, but it was taken off air after complaints. This is what wikipeida says about it

The main concern of those complainants was that the show portrayed violence as the primary means of resolving conflict, and that this was influencing children to behave more violently more frequently. TMNT would be lame if they used guns and all of that cheap stuff. It would not have been entertaining at all. Horrible idea. I think some TMNT in the later series that sucked they might have.
