Unlucky Moments!

I tried to multitask during slayer since it gets boring, especially when I do a Lost City task with a Guthans Spear.

 

 

 

So...I was reading a book and glancing at the screen often while killing Dagannoths in Waterbirth, and I died and dropped my Guthans Spear, Rune Boots, Glory, and Ring of Wealth.

 

 

 

The lucky part is that I have several Enchanted Lyres to teleport to Relekka, so I teled back, ran to Waterbirth Dungeon, and looted own corpse :-X .

I have actually had some pretty unlucky moments in staking, as well as lucky ones.

 

 

 

The worst is when you hit 6x 0's in a row with dagger special on a pure with 1 defense. That's the moments that make you go "...wtf?"

i don't really get luck at all, that would be amazingly aggrivating to come that close to losing a whip though! close one

My unlucky moment was when i was fighting in wildy.....killed the player and i only had like 8 hp left(poisoned)teled to varrock as soon as i got there i died lol i lost full rune,blk mystic..wealth,and like 20 sharks

That's why I use home teles; death in your own house = no item loss \

Dressed up to the nines in full Guthan's, strength cape, infinity boots, fury amulet and I was showing my friend where the fire giants were in Brimmy dungeon. In return he said he'd give me a little present which was 1k nats, so I had them on me too. :

 

We explored the fire giants, and he asked "Are the metal dragons around here?".

 

"Ye" says I.

 

"Where?" he asked

 

"I'll show you" says I.

Basically he goes one step too far towards bronze dragon, and gets wasted in two hits. He's dropped his stuff. Only fools follow fools and I tried to grab a couple of bits and tele. I get owned in three hits and wind up in Fally with my Guthans top, skirt and my fury.

 

 

 

I think this wins the stupidest death in this thread so far... =D>

I was at the mole under fally with my brother, because he is a fan of herblore and farming. We go as a team to help speed up nest collecting. Almost his highest stat :D

 

 

 

Anyway I was down there with my newly fixed anchor and brought it down before the big update/nerf. I wasn't paying attention and didn't notice I had only 3 prayer. So I start meleeing with protect from melee and was too busy watching my character swinging that huge anchor that I didn't notice my prayer was down..... a few 20+ hits later and my brother was laughing at my death...... I got my stuff back but I didn't get to my achor in time.... just fixed it too :( Quickest 50k I have ever spent.

Abberant Specters. No nosepeg. Agility drained to 0. Spending a good while wondering why I'm getting damaged through prayer. Spending even longer wondering why I can't go down the [bleep]ed chain anymore. Panic :<

 

 

 

At least I made some level 70's day :)

When I was level 63, I had full rune, dragon long, glory, full castle war red and some other junk. I was trying a slayer task at the lumbridge caves. I was very prepared, apart from maybe poison : (

 

 

 

I got hit with poison, so I ran back to the entrance. Passed near one of the swamp things and my candle exploded. Kept on running, little bugs started attacking me. Lighted candle and ran through the hole in the wall area. Got attacked by that hand, 12 hp left. Managed to get as near as possible to lumbridge, dropped most of my stuff to get a 1 minute extra time. Died. OH NOES, respawned at fally : (.

 

 

 

Walked to the bank with no enegry, withdrew my collection of strange fruits and a tele. Teled to lummy ate and run as fast as I could.

I died at pest control loosing blue party hat. I don't know how this happened.....

Well it was a lucky moment for me, but unlucky for someone else, I found a half key on the floor in the mining guild (this was back when they were 50k each, so a little more valuable than nowadays) :D

 

Presumably someone got it from a random with a full inventory of ore and didn't notice 8-)

When i was level 60 or 70 i finished my first clue and got a tan cav, so im wearing it while ranging the ogres in the ardy training camp. I get up to go to the bathroom, and come back to myself, now inside the cage, with 5 hp, taking 5 points of damage, and dying. The level 45 who got my cav pm'd me soon after to rub it in.

as for unlucky moments....i cant really think of any others besides getting hit a 25 by guthan(it killed me) at barrows on my second run

thats y he said idk how it happened :mrgreen: anyway, this happened 2 days ago. killing baby dragons in nest in member dungeon while posting here. accidentally hit attack blue dragon. got hit for 27 wityh fire breath and died, was only first damage from breath :evil: worst part is my friend logged rite b4 #-o

You're right, and now I do, but i look back on that and laugh now. It's hard to get far in the game without being scammed once or twice, even if its by an ogre in a cage :

First time I tried MEP2, I went to the temple of light, and as I was on the first floor, I suddenly lose connection.

 

 

 

At first I'm like, "Log Back in! Log back in! Need to eat shark!" but then the message calmly tells me that I cannot log in because my account is still online. The right ventricle of my heart which deals with all things related to gaming, begins to pound uncontrollably. Finally, after about 300 clicks and 2 heart attacks confined to a quarter of my heart, I finally get in. This was before there was a little screen when you log in, before it actually shows you ingame, and I saw instantly the white castle of Falador.

 

 

 

Lost a ton of stuff that I had been carrying for no reason. I can't even remember it all, but I think it was over 150k worth of items.

Well, I've never had any extreme good or bad luck, but the other day I got disconnected while fighting the demon in the Legends Quest. -.-

 

 

 

I died and lost some prayer potions, sharks, and like all of the quest items. I basically had to do the majority of the quest all over again to get the items back.

hmm... well lets see... in rs2 there has been: 2 santas lost to dc'ing while fighting monsters that don't hit more than 3 on me, but hit on a regular basis, 1 blue mask and 1 santa lost to hacker (not really luck i suppose)

 

 

 

rsc: doing barbarian agil course in my friend's phat, falling into pit and dying, and there wasn't a ladder for him to go down to get it (they hadn't made the ladder yet :( ) luckily he wasn't all that mad at me, considering he had another 2 (YES 2!) sets back in the bank (I was mad cause he was gunna let me keep it if I beet him to 40 agil lol)

 

 

 

im sure i have more but im A.D.D. right now and dont feel like thinking
