April 30, 200719 yr Many have thought the diamond necklace to be useless. But if you look at the effect more closely, you can see that it has a few interesting things about it: Automatically restores Hitpoints equivalent to 30% of the max stat if wearer drops below 20%. So far, the maximum heal in game is either 22 (One bite.) or a 60 (Four bites.) If you can afford diamonds to be wasted, then you can possibly combine it with a rock cake to heal when at low hp. If you equip the phoenix necklace, get hp dropped down to less than 20% (Usually around 18hp for higher levels), and then you heal to 30% (Around 27 to 33 hp), it's a pretty big heal if you get knocked down low. Jack of all trades, master of thieving. 259th to 99 thieving. All stats 75+
April 30, 200719 yr I don't think it'll have a big effect. People might use it for big afk training on monsters that can hit you, but other then that I see it as fairly useless. Runescape player since 2005 Ego Sum Deus Quo Malum Caligo et Barathum

May 1, 200719 yr meh by the name phoenix necklace, I thought it would give something to phoenix gang. :( I'm sad now Phoenix. Rebirth from ashes. Not everything has to directly connect to Runescape. There is world outside after all :| . [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

I don't get where you get 33 hp...They go off the second number which highest it goes is 29(or if they round up 30)... eithre way, diamonds cost 3k ea where sharks cost 500 ea..It's much cheaper, not to mention more convenient, to just use sharks.
May 1, 200719 yr the drawback to the pheonix necklace: any random one-winged angel and his masamune can stab you and it wont work :wall: obvious ff7 reference
May 1, 200719 yr Mayby the crafters who cannot craft anything and make a profit now will be able too. I crafted 1000's of recoils just so that I could get xp and make money, despite the fact that I was lv 62 crafting. :( That's what it takes to be a hero, a little gemof innocence inside of you that makes you wantto believe that there still exists a right and wrong, that decency will somehow triumph in the end.--Lise Hand
May 1, 200719 yr thing is, you have to sacrifice a glory or a fury...which may not be worth it. Click for mah Blog!- I'm not sure why you would though because i never update it Achieved 99 Thieving 3/10/07-992nd to it
May 1, 200719 yr thing is, you have to sacrifice a glory or a fury...which may not be worth it. it should go off when you're hit below 20%. Say, you keep a fury until 19 hp, then switch to the necklace, let it break (the next time you get hit) then switch back to fury
May 1, 200719 yr At least its effect works a little faster. The ring of life just comes to close for comfort. :ohnoes:
