If you bank is truly, truly a complete mess, you could consider cleaning it once completely.

 

 

 

Don't just start with moving things in between other things, consider what you want to put in the firs space on the top row (for me that is money).

 

 

 

Get out that item, and reinsert it at the bottom.

 

 

 

After that, just get out 28 items at a time, and think about which ones you want to have closer to the top and which ones less close, then re insert them after money

 

 

 

Eventually, you will have your whole bank, completely looked through that way, and then your stack of money will be in the top corner right where you want it to be, and everything else will sit behind it the way you organised it!

 

 

 

I did this once, and ever since then at least the top part of my bank has been ordered according to skill and use.

 

It the only sure way i know not to forget or ignore the miscelanious things you have. ;-)

 

 

 

 

 

Nice guide! Nothing new in here for me unfortunatly, but at least this will help people do this faster, it took me over to year to come up with some sort of bank organisation, and about 5 tips from a good friend to get to where i am now.

I don't think 3/4 of the population even know what Insert is. It's a handy tool that you can move items without having them switch places (aka swap).

 

 

 

I organize my bank like this-

 

 

 

Money

 

Tallies

 

Runes

 

General Store buying items

 

Quest keep items (such as Trollweiss or a Binding Book)

 

Monkey Gree Grees/M'speak Amulet

 

Ghostly Robes (4 of each, last set in house) with Ring of Visibility (5 of them)

 

Herbs and Unids (guam, guam unid, marrentill, marrentill unid, etc)

 

Farming seeds I need to get rid of

 

other stuff

Nice guide, but I do have a nit-pick to make. On the issue of using up gems, I have lots of gems but very few gold bars, and I consistently rack up gems as I travel RuneScape, making it very hard to keep those four slots free. Same with silver ore - I get a piece of silver every time I tele to Ardougne. Going to a furnace to craft/smelt every single piece of something I get would just take too long.

 

 

 

Same thing with dragonhides. I keep any hides I can just in case I need some black d'hide on Entrana for slayer, or blue hides for clue scrolls (it's easier to have one space for blue leather than 3 spaces for full blue d'hide. I alch when done with the armor). In addition, I farm lots of potatoes for tuna potatoes and their 22 hp restoration...leaving me with raw, cooked, and buttered potatoes. I'd cook my current stock, but then I'd just get more raw potatoes taking that slot again. Too much of a pain.

 

 

 

Frequently collected raw materials should not be used up entirely.

i like it buy i still think they should have bank tabs so u can better orginize for those more-unorderly people.....and more bank space for f2p and p2p!!!!!!!!

and u should make the misc. longer like classify some usually mistaken or confused items........theres some in my bank that dont fit in any of those....like my mask set and blue phat =P which i wish i had lol
