Here is the word from Jagex about this.

 

 

 

The first Guaranteed Content poll is here, and it focuses on the new Achievement Diaries. In particular, its aim is to find out which area should have a Diary next: whether that be the troll mountains, the Gnome Stronghold or the many human towns of Asgarnia, Misthalin and Kandarin. The places mentioned in the poll will include their surrounding areas and countryside, to add greater variety to the final Diary. Seers' Village will stretch to Catherby and Hemenster, for example, while the Fremennik regions will include Lunar Isle, Miscellania, Etceteria, etc.

 

 

 

We feel that the seven areas we have chosen would benefit from an Achievement Diary, and we would like you to choose your favourite. The winner WILL be our next Diary, and the poll results will be published on the 11th of June.

 

 

 

Please do not think that, beyond this poll, our Achievement Diary schedule will be determined by the results. We have plans to introduce Achievement Diaries to regions that we are currently producing content for, while other areas may not yet contain enough to do.

 

 

 

 

I am glad they are acually really giving us the vote! It's pretty neat to know that we have the power in this.

 

Also theres a minor update for the website logins.

 

 

 

Today we're upgrading the way website logins work. Building on our improvements yesterday, we're finishing our new-look login page which includes a new type of login form which is more secure.

 

 

 

In the poll, I voted for Ardougne area, but Varrock is winning (No suprise.)

 

On the site it shows "Guaranteed Content - Achievement Diary" which makes me think that they might bring out these Guaranteed Content polls fairly frequently.

I think it's a good thing to have polls like this. But I do think that the result will be abit biased to Varrock because of the latest Varrock update :(

They also said "The third Achievment Diary will be tied in with content were producing now" or something like that. I chose Varrock :P

I want Fremmeniks win. I'm trying to complete all the quests there :lol:

Omg guys vote for Fremmy. :x They always have new armor and things to release. For sure a hard one would be Dagganoth Kings and releasing better stuff...

I voted for the Fremennik area too :) It has the most potential in my opinion.

I voted for troll mountains as im never out there that much and i figure it might be a little bit more challenging then the other areas, especially if they still left in some combat / fighting / killing things like with the ket-zek on karjarma.

Only 1 person here voted for Varrock however it is in the leader *sigh*

darn - no wilderness or morytania or elf vote. I voted for fremmy area, there is a lot to do there (killing daggy kings would definitely constitute a hard task). To be honest, I dont really want many of the city ones because there really isnt that much to do there that you could say constitutes a really hard task. Maybe they will include varrock wilderness too (although I hope that the wildy is a seperate acheivement).

Looks like most of tip.it likes the Fremnik area more than varrock. (I voted Fremnik aswell) It looks coolest and doesn't have much to be excited over. (and I want to see th dagg kings scarier looking :ohnoes: )

If it ends up being Varrock and one of the Hard Tasks is to complete a challenge scroll, I will be sad. (unless they increase the droprate for those.) :-k

Brilliant idea. This will prove to people that Jagex does actually value our opinions and will create updates which WE feel would not only be best for us, but for the game.

Don't blame me I hope for 1 little thing, it's just I'd prefer that now, rather than it later because if I end up getting construction finished THEN it gets cheaper I'd be so annoyed -.-

To clarify the Varrock option, if you havent voted yet :

 

Varrock would include some slightly out-of-town areas like the Lumber Yard, Champions' Guild and most likely the Barbarian Village.
