Gahh, my red button is really messed up :wall: . All of a sudden it just started blinking out in the middle of a long chord or something, and it got to the point where I can't ever be sure if I'm going to hit the note or not :( . The yellow button is similarly screwed, but not as bad.

Where'd you buy it? I bought it on Gamestop.com, and I just took it back in the original package to the closest store and they gave it to me right then. No waiting. Hope it works out.

Yeah, I expected Target to give me a rough time about it, but they took it right back.

 

 

 

Only negative was that it was in the middle of the holiday rush, so I couldn't get another for about a week.

 

 

 

I was lucky that they had ~15 on stock that day. If they didn't, my warranty would have expired and I would have had to buy a brand new one for full price.

Ouch. That's almost as bad as getting 94% on Raining Blood. That aftermath takes up about 4% of the end of the song.

 

 

 

Keep trying. You'll get it eventually.

Anyone have any tips for making "One" on hard? Just want to finish hard now, so I can say I at least managed that.

Ah, whoops, just the end, where it goes into the three notes going back and forth across the board with hammer-ons or pull-offs if you know what I mean? I can get there with max audiencemeter and full star power, but still can't beat it...

just flail randomly over the 3 notes you're meant to be aiming for, and strum like hell, with SP on you wont fail, cos you'll hit some of them for sure.

Can you say, "Guitar Hero 3 for 360 for my birthday?"

uh. Why does the Guitar Hero website not update scores? o_o I have 118k on Mississippi Queen, and a few other unupdated scores. I'm not yelling at you or anything, but is there a way to update them?

Don't worry everyone. Whenever I updated here, I updated on the Guitar Hero forum, so all of the scores are safe.

Yesterday I somehow did all of the tier 7 songs (except for Before I Forget, damned bridge. And COP, too, but I almost finished the solo) in 1 try on expert. My eyes bugged for a second afterward.

So, I got this game a while ago, played a total of about a week now. This was my first time ever playing any guitar hero, except for liek 1 song on easy at a friends. So right now im up to the last tier on Hard career. I can do Cliffs of Dover, but the other 3 songs have screwed me over. Anyone have some tips?

Well for 'One', make sure you have full star power to save you in Fast Solo A.

 

 

 

'Number of the Beast' shouldn't cause too much trouble, you can bomb the solo's and still make it through.

 

 

 

'Raining Blood' will cause you the most trouble, save your star power for Mosh 1, and only use it when your about to fail, because Mosh 1 lasts pretty long. After that, it's pretty easy to pass.

 

 

 

Good luck with Lou, it's a huge jump from Medium to Hard.

Well, that was eventful. I five-starred One and Number of the Beast, making Raining Blood the only song that I need to 5* on the main setlist! :D I'll never 5* RaBl, though. o_o

 

 

 

On another note, Rock Band is teh funz. Green Grass and High Tides was dramatic to finish!

One is annoying, I once got 96% on it and failed. Raining blood is worse though, I only got past Mosh 1 once and I failed a few seconds after it. This is on hard, dont know what Lou will be like though.

I beat Number of the Beast now, trying One, but I don't think you even get star power on raining blood until Mosh 1 =/. Well, I'll be stuck for a little...
