May 31, 200719 yr Are there any items you think Jagex might discontinue and they would turn out to be expensive rares? Possibilities: Toy horsies Tiles All of the half slices of pizza or slice of cake or whatever (Jagex could switch the portions) Potions (The spot ones) Sliced bananas Spinach roll Varrock newspaper I have more coming in a min. Post thoughts. ~Shadow
May 31, 200719 yr If they do discontinue something like that, they would make them untradable so another rare wouldn't throw the economy out of whack.
May 31, 200719 yr And even if they did discontinue those (and make them tradeable) the only item that would be worth something would be toy horsey Check out my blog here! Thanks Jopie211 for the sig
May 31, 200719 yr Why are rares bad for the rs economy? Join the campaign for more F2P Bank space!Did you really "laugh out loud" at that joke, or did you "chuckle quietly"? say cq next time, not lol.
June 1, 200719 yr And even if they did discontinue those (and make them tradeable) the only item that would be worth something would be toy horsey Not necessarily. The half-jug of wine and the disk of returning are pretty useless, but they are still worth millions. I dont see why these ones wouldn't.
June 1, 200719 yr Just in case. I should stack up on some of those iems. Just in case. Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, your commodity drops in value. June 1, 200719 yr I think those spinning plates that came out ages ago. I have some in my bank just sitting there. I think you had to get them in draynor, can anyone clarify this? :-k edit Yes, I already am. "Just in case." lol  that made me laugh P2P offers more and better ways of making money than f2p. That's one of the cons you just have to play with if you don't feel like having 1 bigmac meal less per month.
June 1, 200719 yr I think easter rings that turn u into eggs has a possibility of becoming a rare.. its tradable, right? I think it will take at least 1 more yr to become a rare tho... a lot of people still keeps them rsn: wassupdude90 Age is meaningless; we are all the same on the inside.

June 1, 200719 yr Why are rares bad for the rs economy? They increase in value, due to no production / ready supply of them and adds to inflation. I think easter rings that turn u into eggs has a possibility of becoming a rare.. its tradable, right? I think it will take at least 1 more yr to become a rare tho... a lot of people still keeps them They were never tradeable. Tetris is about using the equal force of the working power to build up the glorious people's republic of Russia....

Ontopic: Spinning plates and toy horsies were a joke(literally; 'dragon plates' and 'player owned horses'), chances are, they won't be around much longer. There is no meaning or truth in life but that which we create for ourselves.
June 1, 200719 yr If they do discontinue something like that, they would make them untradable so another rare wouldn't throw the economy out of whack.no, if they do discontinue something, they will just erase it from the game. Ontopic: Spinning plates and toy horsies were a joke(literally; 'dragon plates' and 'player owned horses'), chances are, they won't be around much longer.why would they not be around for much longer when you can easily buy another. June 1, 200719 yr i think full bronze could become a rare!!! Like no one wheres it nowadays!!!! WEll i dont anywayz!!!! a freind is like a bum cheek, full of crap!!!

To "erase" those items would be to spite the players who invested every thing they had in them...
June 1, 200719 yr I think those spinning plates that came out ages ago. I have some in my bank just sitting there. I think you had to get them in draynor, can anyone clarify this? :-kYou buy them from Diango in Draynor, yes. Yes, I already am. "Just in case."I used to know a kid named that... I don't think they will discontinue any of the items, to be honest. Oh, and one last thing... Spinning plates and toy horsies were a joke(literally; 'dragon plates' and 'player owned horses'), chances are, they won't be around much longer. Those will be going nowhere. They have been around this long, so why would you think they'll be gone soon?
June 1, 200719 yr Why are rares bad for the rs economy? They increase in value, due to no production / ready supply of them and adds to inflation. Yeah... Terrible. no, if they do discontinue something, they will just erase it from the game. No they'll just create a new manner to gain the discontinued item. They did so with various items already (certain unidentified herbs, were other items too can't remember right now). Jagex won't unintentionally create any new discontinued items anymore and if they do you bet they'll be won't be discontinued for long. The value of my bank at its height. Estimated value at the peak of the rares market: 250 billion+.Most likely the largest trade in RuneScape ever. Estimated value at the peak of the rares market: 70 billion+.
June 1, 200719 yr Jagex already swore never to make another tradeable rare, and the half jugs of wine weren't even intended to be rares, so they'll be more careful next time. dragantamer8, that is sarcasm, right? What's the use for the tile anyways? You're being watched.
June 1, 200719 yr No, it's stupid to think they would do that. Especially since every time they get out a holiday item, they make sure its untradable and available for everyone to get. They obviously do not want to make more rares. 2480+ total
June 1, 200719 yr As others have said, there will never be anymore rares. Anything Jagex decide to get rid of completely (Bob's fliers for example), they will wipe from the game, and everyone's accounts, altogether. This will ensure it does not become an accidental rare. ~Ian Retired Tip It Moderator | Zybez Radio DJ - Listen Here
June 1, 200719 yr I don't think there will be any more rares now. JAGeX checks every item out if it could become a rare very carefully before they change it. And they don't want any item to become this, and thereforce I belivie there will not be any more rares. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
June 1, 200719 yr Yeah... You guys might be right... But look how many rares there are now. Wouldn't there be even the slightest chance that Jagex might put in a few more? No one thought Jagex would discontinue the half jug of wine, but they did. Mod, if you think this is going nowhere, you can lock it. List of useless items
June 1, 200719 yr you should add spinich rolls to that list, its also pointless and could easily slip into rareity Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos. PSA: SaqPrets is an Estonian Dude Steam: NippleBeardTM Origin: Brand_New_iPwn
