if runescape 3 came out, would u still play rs2?

Featured Replies

Most likely I would need to wait and see how the games compared to each other, but in the end, I guess I would be forced to play "RS3" because of updates, highscores etc.

I'd transfer my account across to RS3 and play it instead of RS2.

I would play RS3 so long as I was allowed to take my account with me, like they did with Classic to RS2.

Otherwise, I recon I'd probably quit to be honest. I don't want to have to start all over again.

i would ether stay up for the first 48 hours, training to try to be at the top of the highscores, for the first time. or i wouldnt play it until i had finished all the quests in rs2, and done most of the magor things in the game.

You see, when a mommy noob and a daddy noob really love each other...

Definitely. It is foolish to hold onto the old ways when newer, superior changes have been implemented. Besides, everyone will (hopefully no account transfers) start out at the same point again, so great~

I'd like it because I wouldn't be a 'RS3' product :D

Its a stupid question, we don't have any idea what it will be different in RS3, so we don't have any idea if we would stay or not.

Its like asking if you would rather have a decent good computer or a computer, we have no idea what the second 1 is so how would we choose?

If we could transfer our account and items to RS3 i would play RS3 instead of RS2.

I would not make the same mistake i made when switching from RSC to RS2, which was transfering only have of my stuff to RS2 so that i could play RSC AND RS2.

P2P offers more and better ways of making money than f2p. That's one of the cons you just have to play with if you don't feel like having 1 bigmac meal less per month.

Well, seeing as how JaGEx announced a while back that this is it, this doesn't really apply... but I'd play both, rs2 more though.

There is no meaning or truth in life but that which we create for ourselves.

If there was an Rs3 and if they still left Classic up, I'd play all 3.

surely you could assume as one was considered decent and the other wasn't the decent computer would appear better.

i would play rs3 no doubt about it

Anyone at Manchester University PM me

Yep, I would definitly play RS3 over RS2, it would have much better graphics and sound. :D

Btw, anyone seen that picture in the new gallery, the one with the super 3D graphics of Catherby? I think thats what RS4 graphics would look like.

No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.

I would play, especially if they start fresh.

Rs2 is dreadful boring.

Tried starting over but ended up getting members again on overvolt and quit, again.

Thats what I am saying, ofcourse you know that RS3 will be better, but we have no reason not to go to RS3. Unless there was some problem like we would have to restart from lvl 3 but we have no knowledge of what it will be like so its a stupid question

Stay Rs2 with this account, make some kind of pure in Rs3.

There won't be a RS3 which makes this topic pointless (Well, it was anyway)

Jagex are making a new game, no idea what it is but it's probably another MMOG.

Runescape (2) will continued to be developped aswell, there'll be two seperate teams.

I'm sure if it is another MMORPG then some people will move over to the new one, some will stick and some people will play both.

If/when they do make a new game, not a lot of RuneScape players will know about it, because it will be advertised somewhere else. That is unless they make a small advert. on the top of the main website or something.

Like I said, stay in Rs2. Unless it has really smooth graphics, costs the same, AND all my friends migrate to it, then I'll switch.

im gonna tell you guys a story about way way back in runescape 2.

At first rune items were rarest items in game. My friend who loved mining and smithig knew this. He would sell rune 2h's for 1 mil ea! The economy changes very rapidly at the beggining. so i wouldnt buy a tyhing wen rs3 comes out.

Don't talk [cabbage] rune 2 handers never were 1m in rs2 so go back to rs2 you rs2 product.

I know, what a moron. R2Hs were some of the most common items in the game when RS2 came out, around 50k each.

lulz @ rs

I hope there isn't coming a rs3, having to start all over with my character would probably make me just quit both ...
