I'll probably keep training slayer with my rune defender and guthans, I think a good attack bonus is worth more then a minor 7 strength bonus. It'd be good for CW attacker, but I'm mostly a defender and also there attack>strength (well, in my opinion). The last spot it could use it are at the barrows. Possible uses I came up with, which I don't do: - Pking/staking. - Daganoth kings. - Fighting dragons. Can anyone think of more good uses? (So where dragon fire shield is better then the rune defender?) One other question: What happens if you die with it and if you drop it like anything normal, does it protect over a whip? (I think if you normally drop it, I don't see it used very much for pking any time soon, because you'll always lose at least your whip.) It will definitely protect over a whip - whip store price is 60k vs. 800k for the dragonfire shield. If I'd spent 35M+ on a shield however, I'd be quite grateful that it protects over my whip which costs a mere 1.5M!!

June 19, 200719 yr At first I was like eh, not bad, not too special though it only hit 24. Then, it hit me! It wasn't the weapon that hit the 24. It didn't use any of the special attack bar. The SHIELD hit 24. DAAAANG. Shields hitting 24? That's pretty darn cool 8-)

Nearly every dragon was taken. Plus there were a lot of people down there who didn't know what they were doing. It's crazy over at the metal drags with experienced drag slayer and noobs alike all trying to get a visage. drop. Makes no sense in paying 25-30mil for an item for the sole purpose of showing off. I really have no use for it since I don't stake and I don't pk. If I get a visage drop while doing a slayer task at the drags, I'm surely going to sell it.

What can be worse than spending day after day trying to get a visage drop and when you finally get a drop, you realize that the drop has dropped by 10-20mil. :shock: Hope this doesn't happen though. June 19, 200719 yr Have you tried using anymore of the specs? Is the damage consistent, or does it deal less the less charges it has? its very consistent against melee armor, its kinda like a magical range attack. You mean a magic attack? >_>

June 19, 200719 yr Yep, I have one too. I have a feeling they will go back up after all the idiots realize that the KB is wrong in stating that there is no strength bonus. And even if it doesn't, I doubt it will go below 20m for several months. Visages are too rare and too many people want the shield. Although Abby Whip is right, the place is covered in fire bolt mages... Pathetic noobs that they are. Real (or smart) men melee the dragons. It is not only cheaper but faster if you use super sets. The shield is totally worth the money, though. It is by far the best melee defense shield and the second beset magic defense shield... And the highest strength bonus... And a dragonfire blaster, all rolled up into one! \
June 19, 200719 yr Rumor has it that this thing has been nerfed but I checked the KB and all the stats are the same as yesterday... Could anyone explain if this is true? Edit: Someone just explained to me that it was in fact a bug in the KB and the sheild hasn't been nerfed
