Recently ive had a lot of my old Runescape friends, one of which is my best friend, tell me I should come back to Runescape. He tells me about how much that game has improved since I left ( Around 4 months ago. ) but not much in great detail.

 

 

 

 

 

Is this true? has Jagex really came down to their senses? Has the game acually gotten any better? I'd like to hear your opinion as to why a retired Runescape player should come back. ( Because I all know you want to hang out with me. \ )

It depends on your personal opinion. The reason I came back was I missed the gameplay and graphics Runescape has to offer. I can't play it for 6 years straight, but playing half a year then quitting half a year has kept me in this game a lot longer then I would have if I played solid from day one.

Thats my story too :P Keep quitting every half/year and keep coming back.. I just can't get enough from this game :P

I quit because I was sick of the people. Most of my friends ended up hating me for different reasons, most of them because they felt the need to run away with my things.

 

 

 

I also quit because of school. But now school is out. :)

With the developement diaries, bits and pieces (updating small things that players have asked for), guaranteed content polls, etc. Jagex is starting to listen to players and be a bit more personal.

Revenga playing Runescape for the friends isn't worth it, I would rather random people add me on MSN then have some of these nincompoops on runescape be my friend. I play Runescape like a single player game, while I still have friends I'm not party pete.

Nor am I. The only people I'm real friends with are the people on Tip.it and the guys i've been playing with for years.

If you've got nothing better to do over the summer why not? That's why I started playing again.

It's really only up to you, people can say what they want, but in the end you're still the one that makes the decision.

I remember your SOAD avatar but nothing else about you #-o Last few months have been good updates IMO and they have been mostly high-level player based. Also Jagex have started listening more. Nothing too major to bring you back, it's mostly gotta be whether you want to come back.

If you need people to talk you into playing maybe you aren't ready to come back lol, how hard is it to log on and see for yourself.

I honestly don't want attention, just some insight on if it's worth playing again. :roll:

I can find a reason for myself, I was just thinking that it'd be a bit more convincing if someone else told me. I personally would play it just because i'm bored and don't want to spend a bunch of money on WoW.

I agree with those two ^, if you need convincing of why to come back, what would be the point? Not much has really changed except the autos have gotten worse, (unless your f2p like me, don't try and prove me wrong on this -.-)

Well, you obviously have put a good deal of time into your account, so would you really want all that to go to waste? We need more people like you in the game, people who can type legible English and ask questions other then, "frEE stUf pL0x!"

Well, acually, I don't have it anymore. Which was why I quit in the first place. So i'd have to start over, which is fine with me. I havn't gone through and done any of the older quests since they where updated. O:)
