Ok me myself im a sony fanboy and im here to rub this in on the x box fanboys faces it clearly says this

You see that 96million people prefer the ps2 to the x box

Wow that is alot. If Sony doesn't get their head together with the Ps3 though the 360 will just own these results.

No company has even come within 50 million of these sales, the closest being 50 million consoles behind, nearly 20 years ago. I doubt that the PS3 or 360 will sell over 20 million

You have the realize though that these new consoles are going to be around for a long time before new ones come out. We keep seeing mroe and more alterations for The 360 the Wii and the Ps3. I mean how much better can you get then what we have right now? Their is only so much you can push the graphics until either the price explodes or the T.V.s can't handle it anymore.

And that is opposed to being irritated by fanboys who are loyal to a company who have admitted that every single one of their consoles is defective in some way?

Uh, i didn't mind fanboys till now. I happen to own both xbox and the 360, and i feel offended by this.

 

And so, i reveal to you, the horrible-ness of the ps3 sales!

The 360 has sold nearly 8 million more than the ps3, standing at approx 11.4 mil and 3.7 mil. The wii is catching up to the 360 at an alarming rate, with 8.6 mil.

 

And the ps2 may be selling more than the 360, but its also selling more than the ps3, its own improvement. That is wierd. In fact, the ps3 was dead last (not sure of now) in sales IN JAPAN, behind handhelds and the American 360. Wonder where those 96 million went, huh?

 

Mind you, i think the ps3 will make a comeback eventually, in a few years. The ps3 has a longer lifespan than the 360 and much more so than the wii. All it has to do is to establish an install base, and its superior hardware will outlast either rival.

 

But until then, go xbox!

well you know one now. around the end of '06 our PS2 wouldn't play most of the newer games (i.e. God of War 2) so we got a new one \

but does that mean its a better console? maybe because theirs more fanboys like you.

PS2 has been out longer, is more well known due to the Playstation and had a more wide array of games.

 

 

 

Look all the next gen consoles are great. Well I'll still to try a PS3. Wii, well its great for some exclusive games. 360, excelllent gameplay on games and easy to grasp.

The PS2 has also been around for longer. But either way I prefer the PS2 over any Xbox (360) anyday.

The PS3 needs some good advertising, not some crazy story about semi naked women jumping on a bed while suitcases explode. (Thats the advert i saw in England.) Then it finishes with a naked women on the toilet peeing, saying "This is living." DID SOME MENTALLY DAMAGED RAPE VICTIM THINK THIS ADVERT UP?

You think that's astounding? Perhaps going from such a strong position, to a console that's not selling off the shelves just a few months after it's released is even more astoundingly bad IMO...

 

 

 

The Wii's actually selling faster at the moment than the PS2, so don't sing your glory songs yet. :wink:

Play station has been around for what? A decade and a half now? For 6 years Sony had been collecting fans, after those six years Microsoft comes along. With a 6 year fan base, plus the fact that Play station 2 was a good system isn't it logical that they would be number 1?

 

 

 

Plus since the prices have dropped so much, the xbox owners who don't have enough money for next gen may go with a play station 2.

Then again, as was said earlier, a lot of those sales were resold consoles. I know of about 3 people who have had problems..two were fried completely. and the other we had to take apart and fix the problem. It was a simple error that could have easily been fixed with another 2 days or so of delay -.-

 

 

 

and there's also another thing..yes, the ps2 was the greatest console of last gen. Yes, the xbox was kind of a me-too console...yes, the gamecube failed..but hey, Microsoft and nintendo learned from last gen..now they have some of the greatest consoles I've ever seen. Sony? In my opinion, they just made a 3rd Ps2..except buggier, and it won't play Ps2 games :notalk:

Probaly because ps2 was released first, so everyone bought and then realised they didn't need both and then didn't but xbox?

 

 

 

XBox360 will sell more then ps3 imo.
