The news has been released..we know what to expect..what are we going to talk about, the multiplayer we've been discussing since halo 2 came out? Wait, I'm a fanboy by defending the best selling console in history? What could be considered the pinnacle of gaming? You see all the smart guys on here who despise the PS3, but consider the PS2 to be a great console? If you look at the technical specs of both the Xbox and the ps2, the xbox was faster than the ps2.

How can you say the last place console is the best? There is no proof that the ps3 is supierior to the 360. Judging by the numbers the Wii is not the best it's still in second place.

This is one of the few console wars where the winner wont be 1 sided, it wont be decided for years. The PS2 COMPLETELY dominated the last generation, that can't be said for any console this generation

Have any proof of that? You can get very different numbers from different places. One number could be how many have shipped while others could be what has been sold. There is a big difference.

I can't prove it is accurate. The only proof I have is that the majority of sites say that sales numbers are around where NGW says they are on the meters there..and no, I don't know if those numbers are true. You're just looking for someone that you can say 'Hey, you're just a fanboy who doesn't want to face the truth' to so that your own opinion looks much better. But if you actually care enough to back up your statements with actual proof, then you might not have as many people opposing you.

There goes some more of Sony's propaganda. There is no proof that the cell processor is better in games. I could say just the opposite, the xbox 360 has 3 physical cpus so it's way better than the ps3's one cpu. Now I said that, does it make it true? No.

Technically it isn't the exact numbers, but is an estimate that the staff of the website calculate from many of their sources. Why don't you click on the link that says "where do these numbers come from?" before asking a question like that.

There's far too much prejudice about Wikipedia. It's stupid especially considering most vandalism is dealt with within an hour of it being out online, and overly vandalised pages are locked up for only members to edit.

Now compare those stats to the Xbox 360 vs ps3. 360 had about 3 times more consoles sold.

Yeah, if the flaw is serious enough, the game could easily be cancelled. It's happened plenty of times in videogame history. BUT i don't see how this has to do with the ps2 or xbox.

 

 

 

And no, i don't think its that much harder to develop for blu-ray than DVD. But I've read articles on how microsoft's software is easier for game developers to work with. No idea on the hardware (format that is) though.
