lol Baron, how many times you seen them this year so far? :D I only seen them once so far, would have seen them at Glasto but they pulled out at the last minute. I might pop along to the Civic Hall in Trowbridge and see them next month if I can get a lift to and from too.

London is ok, but to be honest... there's not that many British people live there lol. Seriously, I recon half of the city centre population is foreign.

British cities and American cities are very similar anyway, so you won't have much trouble adjusting at all.

Britain as a country is pretty diverse though, and the futher north you travel, the more you will notice this. The accents change (to the point where you may have problems understanding what's being said, especially in Merseyside, Newcastle and Glasgow).

Newcastle ftw  (I'm from there)

Well for one they can't even win the sports which they established, particularly against dominant sporting countries such as Australia. :P

A country which they once literally owned and sent their convicts to. Which, by the way, was quite stupid in my opinion.

I can just think of an Englishman thinking to himself "Now where to go, the New World, with it's great blizzards and icebergs, or Australia, the sunny continent/country hybrid? I think I'll go to the New World, and while we're at it, lets send all of our criminals to Australia.

I am Canadian, most of that was either from a comedy sketch or my history classes.

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.

London rocks, but Manchester is still the most livley place for culture, music and experience. Anyway, forget all the stereotypes that we live in towers and castles or in depressing streets with cobbled roads. Englands a beautiful country at places because of our history mainly, and it's a hell of a lot of fun!

England is brilliant, and the north is much better than the south. And, let no one tell you differently.

Personally, i recommend taking a trip to Norris Green in Liverpool ... it's always interesting here.

p.s. i accept no responsibility for what happens if you actually come here.

Right, dont bother going to Wales or Scotland for a start; that means we can eliminate this stupid 'UK' termonology.

And have you ever been outside middle class England?

Of course I bloody have, its called Luton and its diabolical. If you want to get mugged and feel like you're living in the middle-east then by all means visit there for a 'broader' view of England.

Well, he was asking you to visit Liverpool :uhh:

But the south is generally nicer but of course Manchester is the best city in England.

Signature3.gif

With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.
