Well, ok. First of all, my opinion on the PC debate is that it is now a minigame rather than a way of training. I logged onto HU's world for around 20 minutes, and was immediately crushed by the amount of losses our team suffered. The fact that they halved the exp given by zeal points is horrendous.

 

 

 

But then I simply left. I didn't join the riots, even though I was planning to pc to 99 attack. I went and grabbed my black mask and finished up that black demons task I've been putting off. I've never much liked slayer, but it wasn't exactly the worst thing I've ever done.

 

 

 

So that's where I thought: "Doesn't the RS community there were better places to train before the update, and there are still better places now?" I mean, those of you know those spots should be in agreeance with me, I've gotten over 140K exp from sitting in the same place whacking a certain monster for 2 hours, and my stats are far from perfect.

 

 

 

Why make a fuss? Sure PC was easy, but it's pretty obvious they designed it to be a minigame rather than a replacement for killing any monster. Maybe it is dead, I'm not sure. But what I am sure about is.... It's not the end of the world.

I don't want it to die, the slayer spots are all packed enough as it is.

 

 

 

I don't like pc, i don't care about the updates on that level, i just want people to keep going there instead of competing with me!

It's fine to be angry about the update, but joining the riots and writing five-word rants really isn't the best thing to do to get Jagex's attention. Seriously, these kids fuss over everything... :x

Well how about disclosing these mystical training spots? I'm pretty depressed after the update...Pc was fun and good xp.

yeah im cancelling members, but i did that the day before the update ... so it doesnt bother me much.

 

really ill probably just pc 99 str because i hate training with d scim and get the armor sets, if i come back to members that is.

well judging from the high lvls at the riot, i dont think jagex would consider changing this update anytime soon. from my view, i'd say this update was worth changing, pures and other pc products need to realized there are other alternates to training besides repetitvely playing a mini game. its their game.

because i'd like to take part in the conversation. yes, it is getting ridiculous. i saw a person in seer's bank today who was lvl three, his name was "new pc no rs". seriously, it's just too ridiculous. riots are pointless, they accomplish nothing but piss off jagex. and the people who are trying to do something in the place the people are rioting.

I agree, people could be doing something more than rioting. To me their setting themselves up for a good long mute. They should have learned from past riots that rioting doesn't work, it's the rants that jagex reads on the forums and they will change it if they feel it is needed.

I agree, it's not the end of the world. But I believe in liberty, and that people should be allowed to do what they want if it doesn't hurt anybody, and rioting doesn't hurt anyone. If it makes them feel better afterwards, then that's good. I regard this as "group insanity", and it can be quite liberating.

it does hurt the people who are trying to do something where the riot is taking place, and they're getting spammed and lag. seriously, i wish these rioters would do it on the forums.... jagex really doesn't care if you do anything in the game as long as it's not illegal. and those rioters that aren't spamming with "@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@" aren't doing anything illegal, and the ones whoo are jagex doesn't like because they're breaking the rules. these riots are futile.

I reason that PC xp was too good for the time you spent there. It let noobs level too quickly and it wasn't fun at all.

 

 

 

Now, Jagex balanced it out. It's a fun minigame, with great rewards. I like this PC a lot more.

What good rewards? All I see is a few sets with horrible stats and "not even as good as the salve ammy" special effects.

you can turn chat off, but that inconviences players who are having a conversation or want to see what other people besides the rioters are saying. and it still doesn't fix the lag.

Fun minigame? Stop lying to yourself. The void robes/mace/helmet isn't special. It just looks cool.
