But I miss the feeling I had, it was about February 2002 for that account. Then a month later I made dark jab. I tried to log into my old account...it doesnt exist :( those monsters. *edit* actually he does still exist! I used to have so much fun venturing into the varrock sewers killing mean skeletons and ghosts to be able to wield that ownage addy scimmy! I remember the day how I 'merchanted' my way from 130k coins into a full rune set, I was so happy that day. It was fun looking forward to becoming members, with so many things to do and so many more things to discover. Now I've done pretty much everything there is to do (few exceptions) and that magical feeling is gone. 99 cooking / 99 magic / 99 ranged / 99 hitpoints / 99 herblore / 99 defence Quoted for truth, wisest thing I've heard anyone say on Runescape. Adventurer Posted July 25, 2007 Share Posted July 25, 2007 I really miss not knowing everything. I learned about pretty much everything there was way too quickly. Man, it was so nice in the beginning when there was a sense of novelty and of mystery, as though the possibilities were endless. Now I'm a bit bored with Runescape because I've accomplished pretty much every material goal that I have had. Also, I miss the challenge of things like getting my first set of rune (looted it in the wildy FTW!! :D). I remember when Guthans was my dream armor. Now I'm capable of completing my collection of everything I want without spending too much effort. I guess becoming totally self-sufficient for lvls and junk and going for items through monster drops helps a bit with this, but it's not the same. I remember when I was totally ignorant of how bad things could get with other people in Runescape. I've always had a naiveness for things and I would approach things like they were totally happy and innocent and junk. Now I see a community where there are nice people, bad people, and a total lack of forgiveness (it's here too :shock:). I have a theory as to why this is happening, but it might offend some overly zealous, political-right loving, God-hating people here. On top of this, I'm lacking a sense of accomplishment for things. Today, I finished the new quest (King's Ransom). I then proceeded to pwn all of the Knights of the Round Table to get my new prayers. I was like, "Meh." I really wish that things were as epic as some of the older quests such as the Plague City quests and stuff. A lot of the quests nowadays are just a bit too light-hearted and not-so-epic -.-. It's the same with skills, but I don't expect too much excitement from those anymore because I've gained pretty much all the benefit I can get from them. It really DOES feel like RuneScape's missing something. Where are all the places that make lvl 100's feel like lvl 3's all over again? (for the above it would seriously help if they would change it back, so that you can't see each others levels outside wilderness) I dont know where any of you got the idea that everyone was intellectually brilliant before rs2 and everyone suddenly got really stupid and only you self righteous rsc players are the intelligent ones. :roll: On topic i liked it when rangers had the double msb spec. Did I at any part say they came stupid in rs2? The outbreak started in rsc and got spread further when miniclip made the deal with runescape. And I did not say only people from rsc are the intelligent ones. And to help the picture, after wilderness was released you couldn't see other player's levels outside wilderness, so a level 100 was as good as any other level 3. Then when the levels became visible outside wilderness the higher levels got arrogant and the lower levels tried to counter and many people turned stupid. Now we all look the same :( I also liked the interface and the way things looked. I remeber when they changed falador after i started,lol. Took me forever to find the bank by the mining guild,lol.
