What would you do if there was no private messaging system?

 

 

 

Personally, rs life wouldn't change that much. But I'm sure it would make a lot of people quit.

due to my lack of them, i really dont think anything would change accept for the angry message's i WONT get from some 1 thats recently died because of me.

Erm, it would make selling, buying, just talking to people in a practical sense impossible, friends aside.

other then that, items would be impossible on forums.

I can't imagine trying to sell things to specific people =/

I think the game would be more boring. For me, the only thing that keeps me playing is the occasional person that I meet who is fun to talk to. The game is repetitive, I don't really play for the pixels. Without people to pass the time with, I don't think it would be as fun. That's just me though, maybe I'm just weird.

It would change alot for me, considering the people i hang around with are a major part of the game for me (though most of them are family). Still, i might go as far as to say i would have stopped playing a long time ago without the friends system.

I tend to talk alot more on public chat and I always have fun and good conversations with random people.

 

Having no private chat would be annoying for buying/selling.

I would hate it so much, I would quit maybe.

i rarely play anymore cause i have no friends. so i think it would be twice as boring. but it wouldnt effect me much anymore so id still play.

its the one thing that makes sure skilling isnt that dull (constant skilling i mean) and it would also make sure worlds like world 2 are even more wanted to get in

This game is very repetetive making it boring at times.

 

 

 

So i would quit because i revolove around my friends. It helped me get 99 smithing with all the chatting and foruming i did. But friends what make me stick with the goals I make.

I'd talk to my friends on some other chat program. It doesn't have to be ingame.

I'd quit.

 

 

 

If Jagex abolished the private messaging feature, I wouldn't be able to talk to friends as conveniently as I could with it there, and I wouldn't be able to contact potential buyers and sellers for the stuff I have or the stuff I'll buy. Friends are perhaps 80% of the reason that I play this game, to be perfectly honest .

I'd live. I use IRC Chat so and most my mates are on there so we could talk there. It's what I do anyway :P

I would be dissapointed, although my friends list is drastically short (i went through it deleting everyone that had quit, left me with about 15 names, of which 5 regularly play :cry: ) i do like talking to my good friends, especially when doing boring skills.

I'd go crazy, my RL friend only has RS to talk to me, not even the phone. :shock:

 

 

 

Also, I can't talk to my F2P friends without going on their world. :|

I'd quit, simple as that.

I would never have met Revenga or Hiitchhiiker, I wouldn't have learned one of my oldest friends has a new account, and other important things *involving me* wouldn't have happened.

It'd completely change, even though we'd still have SS. Friends are a very important part of my gaming

It would change hugely! - and for the worse.

 

You would have to glue youself to your friends with pixelglue, to be able to speak to them.

It wouldn't really matter to me. I rarely talk to people. I find the game fun even without talking to people. But that doesn't mean that I don't like a chat here or there.
