August 3, 200718 yr I dont know how many arguements, debates, and lengthy discussions I have gotten in with my friends and fellow f2p fishers about the certain question that many-a F2P fishers would like to know; Is Draynor Bank or Falador Bank closer to Port Sarim? I know loads of people saying Draynor Bank but I, myself, have always used Falador East Bank. From this map (below) it appears by using the shortest routes that Draynor is closer, but when I walk it in timing - Falador is closer. \/ I followed a couple autoers and fishers around to both banks and this APPEARS to be the AVERAGE path taken to each bank. Can't promise you everyone takes the same path \/ Whats your opinion? Falador - 4 Draynor - 9 Thanks to the amazing talent of Jopie211 for the sig!Finest Fist of Guthix Strategy Guide
August 3, 200718 yr well you have to make all those curves on draynors. i'd say fally is a bit closer.
August 3, 200718 yr Author well you have to make all those curves on draynors. i'd say fally is a bit closer. thats what i say! but i have people betting their party hats (not really but u get it) that Draynor is closer.. August 3, 200718 yr first of all, let me edit your foto to a more practical route And im gonna use a ruler here...watch out...it could get messy... On the scale im usin draynor is exactly 4 1/8 inches while falador is 5 5/8 inches. Alas! Proof that draynor is closer! ur welcome Hyt Chat FOREVERI have quit RuneScape. August 3, 200718 yr Teleporting to Fally is quicker than both of those  . But really, I agree with Falador bank being closer, I always seem to get slowed up by all the curves on the way to draynor. Don't the macros usually go to Draynor though? Maybe they know something we don't.... I guess cause I never saw the need. I also felt that if I moved into the version of the game that was always changing that it would in some way invalidate the work that I had already put into my account.
August 3, 200718 yr Author Don't the macros usually go to Draynor though? Maybe they know something we don't.... Yeah, maybe - but I dunno. Macro's do sometimes use Fally route in different worlds Thanks to the amazing talent of Jopie211 for the sig!Finest Fist of Guthix Strategy Guide
August 3, 200718 yr I think Draynor is closer on paper but Falador is much easier and seems to take less effort and even time. I always use the Falador route.
August 3, 200718 yr I've always used Draynor. Even if the distances are equal, it's more convenient because you have less clicking to do because so much of the walk is going around the fence.
August 3, 200718 yr I find Draynor definitely closer than Falador...don't really know for sure though. ~Ddaanniiellh : 1437 : 173Lowest Combat to 1,000 Total in F2P (23 Combat)Check me out on YouTube!

August 3, 200718 yr Author i have proved it! look at my earlier post!! we're not talking about mesuring it. we're talking about walking (or running) time it takes. like some have said - the curves to draynor can easily slow you down Thanks to the amazing talent of Jopie211 for the sig!Finest Fist of Guthix Strategy Guide
August 3, 200718 yr i have proved it! look at my earlier post!! A shorter distance doesn't make it faster though. For instance if you are driving for 10 miles down a windy road, I don't think it'll be faster than driving 12 miles on a highway. (Ignoring speed limits, just taking into account how much harder it is to drive down a windy road than a straightaway.) Edit: Unorclan beat me to it :-w I guess cause I never saw the need. I also felt that if I moved into the version of the game that was always changing that it would in some way invalidate the work that I had already put into my account.

August 3, 200718 yr If its so close then why bother making a thread..? you can go post that on italians thread, plenty of good discussions are involved here. theres no harm if he wants to know the closer route.

August 3, 200718 yr I think this is a little more realistic. Honestly though I think dranor is closer by a hair. Sometimes though it depends on which dock you are departing from. By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( .
August 3, 200718 yr Draynor, but shouldn't this be in help and advise? Click for blog!Watch great videos! http://uk.youtube.com/profile?user=plod64
