Favourite skill for your newb? 200+ Views!

Featured Replies

I have just recently thought about my favourite skill as a noob. On my frst account it was woodcutting and I hated mining on it. But on my new account I love fishing and mining, but hate woodcutting.

So is each player better at a certain skill than others, or do preferences change?

Also what was your favorite skill as a noob?

As a noob it was .. heck I loved every skill, but mining/smithing I liked.

Now as a better player.. *ahhumm..* I like runecrafting/crafting/farming the most.

As I new player I liked firemaking the most. I loved to burn everything I saw . Nah...just joking. I don't know why I liked it the most, but I did.

Now, I like runecrafting the most.

As a newb I liked mining/smithing, but now I can't stand those skills. Construction ftw!

As a new player, I focused all my clicking time on mining and smithing.

I also only trained Attack, as I wasn't that enlightened on the Strength and Deffence skills :P

I also thought my combat level was based on my Attack level.

Pretty much what Dragon said.

Thread terminated.

I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator?

No Tip.Iters were harmed in the making of this post.

As a beginning player, I adored Mining and Smithing, although now I can't stand them, and much prefer Construction. Of course, it's an expensive hobby.

Nothing left in my right brain; nothing right in my left brain.

So, so far it's your preferences that have changed? :-k

For my first few WEEKS I didn't know how to swap to defence or strength xp, so I was like 40 1 1 lol

Mining Smithing at first,

Then fishing cooking ranged,

Now Thieving.

I shall take my flock underneath my own wing, and kick them right the [bleep] out of the tree. If they were meant to fly, they won't break their necks on the concrete.
So, what is 1.111... equal to?

10/9.

Please don't continue.

Rambo, cannot pk call your friends bro :). Wait nevermind none of SAPK/PKS can. Kappa.

I didn't know how to set recovery questions for a year, so:

First account, I loved mining and smithing, and also melee combat. I had like 36 str, 34 att, and 24 defense... full mithril, rune hatchet (I liked wcing too), rune pickaxe, and 52k in the bank! I was uber-rich... Then the haxors got me :(

Second account: I loved the ranged skill. then it got hacked at 25 range or so... #-o

Third account: I loved mining and smithing again in my noob days on this acc, which, btw, is the account I have right now. :P I got to 30 smithing with The Knight's Sword quest, and smithed about 20-50 full iron sets and handed them out to what I thought of as "newbies", even though I was still fairly new. I also had made this account specifically as a backup account... I remember logging in after my others were hacked and saw that I had 30 wcing and was only level 7

Nowadays, on my newb accounts, I just like the combat skill they're in, tbh. except on my skiller, which i forgot the name for... I had 32 mining too! :(

newsigac5.png

my first skill on highscores was firemaking (back when 500k were on there), got 58 wc before gaining members which was when i was a noob so wc for noob, and no i'm 99 wc with almost 24m wc exp and it's still my favourite skill

As a new player I loved Fishing and Mining!

Now, I can't stand Fishing but Mining is still ok, I love Firemaking and Smithing!

On my first accounts I focused mainly on attack and strength, and almost nothing else. But, I tend to think of myself as more of a noncombat oriented player, and my favorites are now Cooking, Fishing, and Fletching, but I still like training my Strength up a bit now and then.
