mcneilp
Its a lighthearted way of saying have fun and good luck in game...Everything Jagex do gets ranted about near-enough, now they can't even say goodluck in their own, weird-humourous way. Kinda pointless rant imo. Tim
and hey, what's up with grocery store checkout people saying have a nice day? totally unrelated and innapropriate. I find it a grievous misuse of time and energy. I intend to shoot every single person that wastes my time by saying have a nice day. then you wouldn't like "Have A Nice Day" by Bon Jovi... OT: its mearly there kinds words of enjoy the game. All businesses have signatures/letterheads for letters and strict guidelines to follow. The point of the response is to let you know they have received your inquiry and will be looking at the situation. Automated or not, they've received it. As much as everyone thinks that Jagex just sits around eating scones all day thats not the way it happens. your right....its muffins : Popoto.~<
guthix121
that scares me a little. Its like going to the police and saying "Help, I have been robbed!" and then them saying "We will deal with it, and may your battles be victorious!" Own a forum? Advertise it for Free!!! Moonshadow
and hey, what's up with grocery store checkout people saying have a nice day? totally unrelated and innapropriate. I find it a grievous misuse of time and energy. I intend to shoot every single person that wastes my time by saying have a nice day. It is even funnier when you are buying condoms, and they say "Have a nice night!" I usually say, "Hell, I will have a great night" But, I just submitted a report about an advert advertising gold, and I didn't get an automated message. I was shocked. TheGreatShmook
I made an advert complaint: Dear Player, Thank you very much for taking the time to get in touch with us here at RuneScape, we always welcome feedback. We are currently investigating the advert in question and will be dealing with it as soon as is possible. The content inside the adverts are not the views of Jagex unless they have been made by us for the purpose of educating players about RuneScape. This is because of the completely non-political stance that we have taken here at Jagex. The views published in that advert are the views of the advert creators which we have no link to. However, here at Jagex have very firm guidelines about what is and what is not acceptable to advertise upon our site and we will review the status of the advert on our site. Thank you once again for your message, with people like you in the game RuneScape will be a better place. Enjoy the game, and may your battles be victorious! :) Yours Sincerely Mod Zaschke What the hell is up with the bit in bold? I make a serious complaint and they totally override that by making a ridiculous comment. Translation: IDC NUBZ!!11!!!1!1!!! Yeah, I hate when they do that. I reported someone for spamming me (he was begging for a DDS), and I got a message back telling me that if I wanted him to stop, I should have given him something... .::Congratulations!::.I just advanced a spamming level! Now I need to find a decent Signature.
Agunimon979
People who are complaining about the people who are complaining I don't follow. I think something serious like a bad ad shouldn't be made into a joke like "May your battles be victorius!" You people say it's Jagex's way of having fun, yeah, well porn or gold buying on a kiddy game ISN'T fun. People don't like jagex when they don't take things seriously. RayOxide
This is spam, IMO. They say it to encourage the game & / or encourage you to play the game. It's basically their job. I dont need a siggy no moar.
homer205
You people say it's Jagex's way of having fun, yeah, well porn or gold buying on a kiddy game ISN'T fun. Well, as both of those industries seem to be booming and one is centred directly around the game then I would say somebody must be having fun. People don't like jagex when they don't take things seriously. People don't like Jagex when they take things seriously either, or when they update the game, or play the game they make, or when they try to be nice, or when they explain they can't give items away, or when somebody sees them and has just died/been scammed/whatever bad thing, pretty much whenever they do anything which is very sad, they made the game that the people enjoy yet we still seem to get rants like this one. Finally which would you have preffered? Enjoy the game, and may your battles be victorious! or I hope you lagged and got killed while reading this message Technically your just ranting about the fact that the line was there and that it was written in a runescapian style, not that it was offensive so both are technically the same in your eyes yet convey very different meanings (one being the mod wishing you good luck and one wishing bad luck) and the mod was wishing you good luck. Sorry I didn't explain the last part very well
Kriseo
Poor Jagex. They get bagged for absolutely everything they do. Why don't you go and compliment them for having a bit of fun with the players? +1 Why do some people have to blame Jagex for everything That mod just wished good luck to him:^_^: Thats nice  Also, i tried farming once and my potatoes died, put me off forever. Wallettheif
"Your request has been denied and you have been permanently banned from the game. In a few moments a drunken clown will rape you and you will never have intercourse with anything because your so god damn ugly that nobody wants to touch you there, and that clown was too drunk to realize it. I hope you die of AIDS. Mod Whatever" Better? The game.
