August 28, 200718 yr Several people have already obtained it, though I believe there are less than a dozen in existence as of now. I think the Armadyl Godsword can hit 79 with the special, the Bandos hits in the upper 60s with special, and the rest hit up to 60. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

August 28, 200718 yr I did some calculations on the max hit calculator. With all the strength bonus possible, plus an extra 2 if you have dragon boots (I know its +4 but I calced with rune boots in the calcer and thats +2 so an extra 2) I came up with: 79 Damage. Add the 25% special attack (if thats the one you have): 98.75. I dont know if thats 98 or 99 damage. Note! That's WITH slayer mask and salve ammy(e)! Its not close to that high without those two things. On a person its: 76.25 Rank 10 Mining in Sweden :)

August 28, 200718 yr Something is going to happen to it eventually, though :P A weapon costing more than a P-Hat... The price will drop, or something. That, or it will be so amazing even in the future, that we discover it is all Jagex's plan to lower the prices for P-Hats :P I for one, would never risk the God Sword after paying that much. The GodSword is pretty much doomed if it is really, really hard to get, I think Because it would cost wayy too much for combat People who get it will be godly rich, though, and have something to use in dueling arenas/castlewars? :P
