I did some calculations on the max hit calculator. With all the strength bonus possible, plus an extra 2 if you have dragon boots (I know its +4 but I calced with rune boots in the calcer and thats +2 so an extra 2)

 

I came up with:

 

 

 

79 Damage.

 

 

 

Add the 25% special attack (if thats the one you have): 98.75. I dont know if thats 98 or 99 damage, but you can pretty much 1-hit a person with it.

 

it is 98 because JaGeX always rounds numbers down

 

 

 

its only +175 str bonus :roll: thats a max hit of 60 + 25% on players and +165 +20% thats a max hit of 69 + 25% on undead npc's...

Anyway, there is a post on here now with some max hits. The guy has 95 strength and only had dragon gloves. Have a look around for it.

Ok to start off I'm pleased with these updates .. a little insane when you think about it but ok lets start. Heres the max str gear.

 

 

 

Beserker/Netiziot Helmet +3

 

Strength Amulet +10

 

Fire cape +4

 

Bando's Plate/Torso +4

 

Bando's Tasset +2

 

Barrows/Dark Gloves +12

 

Beserker Ring +4

 

Dragon Boots +4

 

------

 

+43 Strength

 

 

 

That's without a weapon lol.

 

Ok now lets add in the Godsword.

 

43+132=175 Strength Bonus. That's insane.

 

 

 

Ok now let's add the Armadyl hilt to the sword letting it have a 25% more max hit when it uses it's special. If a whip hits 48's (close to) with piety and super potted and 99 strength. The total str bonus with the Godsword is close to double the whip's strength bonus (max) before the update today (128). That means without a special it would hit 72's (around in those numbers). Now 25% of 72 is 14 so that add's to 86. With all the chance of error here don't flame me for being wrong but I'm almost positive it can max above 75. In theory it could hit a 86 .. mind boggling isn't it?

Anyway this weapon sounds pretty powerful. Is it 2 handed 'cuase if it isn't then somebody just do it with that barrows armour(don't know the name of it...)

i used the tip it max hit calculator but instead of selecting the weapon, the shield and the boots i entered +136 onto the str bonus put there, (the str bonus includes the new dragon boots, that's why it's +136 not +132 8-))

 

 

 

The max hit it gave me was 77 8-) mmmmmmm 8-)

It's an amazing good weapon if all those calculations are correct. Just sad that it's members only. But I'm happy for all the high level members that will get such a nice new weapon! gratz :)
