I did GWD on my pure (cb 76, 91 str, 90 mage) and it was pretty interesting. I made it to the second wave and looted glory, rune boots, helm of neitiznot, and wealth before teleing after getting hit 43-40 on by the 624. It's funny how 100s die to the boss though. I guess pking teaches you how to eat.

 

 

 

im going to be a smartass here, but there's only one "wave." it just comes over and over again. several of my friends died to the boss in bandos' lair, and we had a bunch of jerks who were trying to get us killed come in. i've seen Armadyl's bird hit a 75, so i can see how people can get 1 or 2 hit by them. that's why from now on, im only going to the lairs with people i trust.

Better, rarer and harder to get than rune boots.

 

You need 83 slayer to get them as a drop, the current price is about 2,5m(?).

 

Rune boots are harder to get, today i already got 13 Dragon ones ;\. And the current price is 1.9M.

Drop rate is always high first day, wait till it gets lowered.

from what ive seen on forum, the drop rates for theses boots are going to be nerfed... i mean, i wouldnt mind getting 13 d boots in a day, but i think its a bit much

20 minutes later nearly became death pile myself at the Bandos.

 

 

 

BTW - did any1 found an effective/safe way to slayer at the Armadyl's?

 

used Karil and range prayer but the mages still hit me quite good,had to tele after 10 minutes...

I died there and lost around.. 1m:( didn't even realize I was being attacked until it was too late D: anyone wanna buy 2k bloods so I don't feel like I lost anything?;p
