llamster
I always put it on the brightest setting. If it were any darker, I would have a headache. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

D. V. Devnull
My vote: 1st Notch (25%) Now, as for this: Is this a joke? You guys are really running out of ideas >_> Actually, there are dozens of things that we could change based just on how bright the screen is. Image standardization-maps, images, mosnters. All sorts of things you can think of ;) I agree with misplacedme on this one. I could actually see them scripting in light settings in the super-wide map loads here on tip.it and even having them save as cookies in your browser so that you wouldn't have to fight with it every time you wanted a map up on screen of something. (I'd personally like something like that, BTW. ...) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... Karmastocracy
The "Very Bright" option for me too  It's hard for me to go from playing bright, to anything darker. :) Guide to Everything Fletching XBL: Karmastocracy[stumbleupon]* Sits on a mossy rock with a notebook in hand, observing the behavior of the specimens dubbed "Fanboys"~"Even when the odds are against you, even when the chance of victory is bleak and your situation looks hopeless, take a look at the horizon, and think back to what you have learned. 123Yourgone
Second lowest, makes every thing look richer, better textured, i hate 100% too bright and removes from the small ammount of atmosphere the game has.
gonpost
How can you guys stand full brightness? If you go past the 2nd brightness level (normal), the only change that occurs is the color gets drained out! Looks terrible! The "normal" setting (2nd notch) is definitely the best. It depends on your monotor setting and/or the amount of light in the room. You should be playing with minimal light in the room, otherwise it will get washed out. My guess is that most people are playing with an LCD with auto setting and minimal light interferrence, and with that 75-100% would be optimal. Dexek
I play the game on 25% Brightness.. and I have my monitor adjusted to 50% Brightness.. WildxYak
75%. I like to have the option to make it lighter if I need to. If somewhere is really dark or something I can knock it up a notch and see it brighter then change back :D 99: Agility 28/12/14|Thieving 20/03/
