Rebdragon
I think swords and daggers are more efficient than guns because you always go up close to rob someone anyway. You also don't have to worry about running out of bullets eithner lol. No. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

Simply for the fact that I'd know how to, and most people can't actually use a sword or dagger to save themselves, and just hold them because they're posers. kelem_ryu
Nobody was harmed. Insurance will pay. That's an okay crime to me, as long as they didn't scare the clerk too much they only hurt the insurance company. I'm completely fine with that. fgfuyfyuiuy0
"They were all covered in black and carrying swords, so it did appear that they were dressed like ninjas," said Chief Robert Amman of the Northern Regional Police Department. "Swords, daggers could be used to seriously harm victims, so this is a very serious crime." I did not know that. I <3 Gears of War 2. flying_death_bombs55
Har har, good one. When you mentioned the Dragon Plates I had a sudden vision of a load of gangsters running around in fancy dress yealling "Grim Reaper in da hood!" Well I guess your right that it would depend on the person holding the sword. But what if the guy actually does know how to use a sword? You can also defend yourself against someone with a gun too. Takes one lucky hit to injure you pretty well before you can close in. If it's a 9mm, you can survive a few hits easily unless they puncture something major, but if it's anything bigger, you won't want to screw with it. And hey, if the guy behind the sword or dagger knows how to use it, more power to them. Anytime I'd be in a position to be mugged like that (late at night, etc.), I'm also carrying either a broadsword or a knife. Thats nice, have you actually had a knife in your face? It doesnt matter if the geezer with it knows what hes doing, its scarily easy to cut someone very badly. If I had a web cam Id show you my 6 stiches to prove it. Its also very easy to say in that situation i'd do a spinning backflip and knock him out (and yes I was that full of *cabbage* as well) but when your actually in that situation your more thinking 'today is not a good day to die'

Seriously, been in that situation before. If it's more than one guy with a knife, sure, I'll back down. When it's just one? I'd take my chances with my own knife. Lol you carry a broadsword with you when you are walking on the streets? How do you manage to conceal it? After practice with the SCA. I carry one wooden broadsword for actual sparring and a real one for practice. NSW weapon legislation doesn't count swords as prohibited objects, and thus I can carry them around without any sort of permit. If there are questions asked, I have a good excuse to carry one around. dsavi
haha thats pretty funny :P Yes! Armed robbery is hilarious! This reminds me of that story that was here not too long ago. A ninja ran into someone's house, attacked them, broke some of their belongings and ran out. This story is more serious though, it's good that they didn't actually hurt the store clerk. Oh yeah, I remember that. The people were watching a movie when these two wanabes smashed through the window or something.
reaper88888
1: Not real ninja. They were seen. 2: They can't use the swords, they just waved them around. 3: They were 'obviously' drunk/stoned at the time, because noone would do something that stupid while sober. All in all, funny, but not really funny... It would have been better if the clerk had pulled a gun on them... There is no meaning or truth in life but that which we create for ourselves.
